I just ordered flowers for my step daughter for Mother's Day. They were delivered a day later than promised (but not the biggest deal). My daughter laughed because the delivery person told her they were from me when he handed them to her (even though they were from my husband and myself). She told him ""I guess I don't have to open the card"". Again...not the biggest deal (although annoying). The next morning my step daughter texted me a couple pictures of the dead flowers and a message stating I should call the florist and get my money back. They had completely wilted and died overnight. I called the florist who asked me to have her bring them in. I stated I would not ask her to do that (I had paid for delivery - they could pick the dead flowers up - although I did email them the pictures). I asked to speak to the manager who called me hours later. She was rude and only offered to bring her new flowers 3 DAYS LATER! I told her that was not good enough and at this point I just wanted a refund. She accused me of yelling (which I was not - but yes..I was and still am angry). She hung up on me. I called back and asked for the owner. She stated she would be in the next day. I asked her to have her call me and she hung up on me again. I called the following day (today) and spoke to a nice girl Shannon. She spoke to the owner and called me back to offer me a $100 gift certificate (I paid almost $70 for original flowers). I told her that was not acceptable, I just wanted a refund...that's it. No more flowers. I asked her to have the owner call me and have heard nothing. I cannot believe a company would risk bad reviews, BBB filings, etc over a $70 transaction that they screwed up.
