Moad took over a MONTH to replace an air compressor that caused our heat and AC not to work during Sept and Oct. During that time we dealt with the following: lies, phone calls not returned, phones not being answered/no answering machine, multiple appointments that nobody showed up for, appointments that they were hours later for, etc. I never had a problem with the actual work that was done by the technician, but the disorganization was astounding. I acted as reasonably as I could, being firm without being rude.
The owner promised me a refund back in October of 2011 to ""make it right"". In November, I called and asked the receptionist when I would be getting a refund. She took my info, promised to look into it, and never called back. In December, I called the owner directly and he promised to send the refund right away. In January 2012, I called again to ask why he never sent the refund and he told me I had to call the office. I left a message the same day with the office and never heard back. The next week, I spoke to the office person and she said that she got my message, but since she couldn't find my paperwork she chose to ignore the message. I gave her more information to help her locate the paperwork; she hung up on me. I called back and this time someone else answered. He had me repeat all of my information and put me on hold, then told me he couldn't find the paperwork. I suggested he just MAIL THE CHECK. He was baffled. I suggested he call Mark, the owner who had promised the refund. Again, he seemed dumbfounded. So I called Mark and once again, he promised to take care of it immediately.
Obviously a $60 refund does not even come close to making any of this right. Unfortunately, consumers don't have much recourse other than sharing our experiences. Please learn from my experience and don't ever hire this company.
