If you want good, professional service go to Kevin at Mission Viejo Transmission. 8/27/2013

I've had Mission Viejo Transmission do work for me over the last seven years. I had a transmission cooler installed by Kevin six or seven years ago and it's worked fantastic ever since. Since that was done, my wife has had problems with her vehicle and we it took right back to where we know somebody who knows transmissions. They do work on the whole car now, too. So after they're done with the courtesy ten day check of the new transmission and have finished checking out the new adjustments, they're going to check the whole vehicle. Kevin is a very professional guy who knows what he's doing. I would recommend him, especially to close friends who trust me and my judgment. My reputation is on the line with them. more

Very polite, professional, and fair 8/16/2013

I had a good experience with Mission Viejo Transmission. They were good and fair. They repaired several things on my car, mainly, the differential and the axle. Everything's turned out good so far. more

Kevin and Company Excellent Service etc. 7/11/2013

I was referred to Kevin by my business partner and glad he told me about this shop. Had a very bad experience with my 2000 Camry. Transmission Broken many pieces inside. Brought it into MV Transmission. Fixed in one day instead of 3 days Kevin estimated, way head on time and now he has another Very Satisfied Customer. Thanks to all the folks there. Will recommend for sure anyone with a transmission problem. more

Excellent work and trustworthy 1/10/2013

I took my wife's Lexus to Mission Viejo Transmission for a transmission rebuild. I'm the type of person who does not stop at the first mechanic I see, I look around before deciding on who to use. Mission Viejo Transmission was originally the second cheapest, but at the end of the day, with all the work that was done, it turned out to be the cheapest. I compared the original estimate I received and what I was charged, and the amounts were the same. I was impressed with Kevin's customer service skills. I am totally happy with the experience and would definitely recommend them. more

Mission Viejo Transmission has replaced my transmission and brakes, and fixed my transmission gear shift, which everybody else said couldn't be done. I just generally maintain my car there. I like that they have their Girls in the Garage event to help women maintain their cars. more

I live in Wisconsin, and my daughter lives in California. She was having some car problems, so I started calling around and I got 2 recommendations from dealerships to call him. I went online and looked at his reviews and they were almost all 5 stars. He was easy to work with, did a good job and did it for a good price. My daughter was happy with the work, she's had the car back for over a month now and haven't had any problems. more

Flawless Experience 10/7/2012

When the transmission in my daughter's car started slipping - I was referred to Mission Viejo Transmission by a local Honda Dealership. Kevin Hurley was very helpful in accommodating our schedule and supplied a loaner car to my daughter while the car was being repaired. The work was completed on time and for the amount that Kevin quoted. It was a relief to work with Kevin given that I am 2000+ miles away. more

I've had 4 or 5 different cars serviced by them. I've had complete transmission rebuilds, motor mounts installed, and just regular service and its always been fast, professional, top notch work. One time I had a truck that was leaking fluid everywhere, so I took it there to have it fixed. He found a tube had come loose and he fixed it for free, and had it done in 15 minutes. They're really good guys and Kevin is fantastic. more

First, the staff at Mission Viejo Transmission was very friendly. They also gave me great advice over phone. They ordered the part before I even got there. The workers got right on it and did an excellent job. They have a very clean shop and nice office with a relaxed feel. What sold me the most was their 23 years of experience. more

I've been dealing with Kevin at Mission Viejo Transmission for about five or six years. He's very professional and gets the job done when he says he's going to do it! Kevin stays within my budget for the repairs on my cars. I go to Mission Viejo Transmission instead of the dealership, and my car is brand new! He's honest and does a good job at a fair price! more

We have been going to Kevin at Mission Viejo Transmission for about 15 years or more. We trust him with all of our cars. Their customer service is outstanding. He is more of a family friend now than a mechanic. I have recommended them to family and friends. He is always willing to give us a ride when needed. more

I have used Mission Viejo Transmission more than once. I have been doing business with them for years now. I started going to them after my previous mechanic shut down due to retirement. I will not go anywhere else. I have recommended them to my family, friends, and co-workers. They have all been equally satisfied with the work. Kevin, Ryan, Scott and all the mechanics are extremely competent and have a lot of integrity when helping customers. They also treat me as more of a friend than a customer. I really appreciate that. more

Out of town and transmission problems. 2/7/2012

I was away from home and on the freeway. Engine light went on and car shifted into lower gear temporarily. Found a AAA Approved Auto Repair service: Mission Viejo Transmission. I thought I was looking at having to get a new transmission since I had 106,000+ miles on my Jeep Liberty. I took my car to Mission Viejo Transmission and if they'd told me I need a new transmission I would have believed them. However, they did a free diagnostic ck up and it turned out to be just the sensor that needed replacement. Kevin Hurley and his staff were kind, courteous and proffessional, but most of all HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY. The bill, with my coupon from AAA Westways magazine and a 10 AAA discount was less than $200. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you AAA, and Mission Viejo Transmission. more

I got lucky when I found Mission Viejo Transmission. I found them through a AAA recommendation. They are the best, and I have never had a problem with them. I have recommended them to others. I am very comfortable dealing with them in terms of the finances. I hate going to get auto work done because I feel like I may be getting ripped off. I never feel that way with them. They are great. Overall, it is the best mechanical shop in the transmission business. 1/5/2012

Mission Viejo Transmission has a very professional and knowledgeable staff. They were spot on with their diagnosis of the transmission, so I allowed them to fix the issue. They go out of their way to give you good service. They will bring you into the shop to show you the issue, the defective parts and how they will fix it. I was able to get a 2 year warranty due to them being a AAA approved facility. I thought that Kevin and his staff were highly trained and professional. They are courteous, polite and very friendly. Overall, it is the best mechanical shop in the transmission business. My hat is off to Kevin and the entire shop. more

I was impressed, and I'll be going back. 11/2/2011

I had started to do the project myself and I had used my own parts when it started to go beyond what I would be able to do. I went in to Mission Viejo Transmission hoping for a better and less expensive solution than what I had come up with. They explained a much less expensive solution, and it was very comforting to know that the job was going to be quickly and correctly. They needed to move some cars around to get mine on the rack, so they moved some cars around and got me in and out in pretty good time. They even gave me a discount for what I brought in to have them finish the job. They had the best service of any place I've gone. I was impressed, and I'll be going back. more

thanks guys! 9/15/2011

I brought our old buick wagon because the transmission was slipping all the time and I was worried the car would be stuck somewhere. I brought it in for a rebuild and left it there for a few days. The guys I dealt with were all very nice and took good car of me and the old car there! more
