I will tell you a little background on my wife and I first, we have six rescued dogs, and my wife volunteers at a animal sanctuary in Llano. we love animals!! recently the animal control in the Antelope valley has been knocking on doors and collecting money for lisence fees etc. Our most recent rescue, ( found running in the middle of 170th and Palmdale blvd) has not been spayed yet. So we like everbody nowadays called around for the best price for a spay. Mission animal hospital quoted a price of 60$ which seemd very reasonable, and so we went. well we got there and 60$ was just for a spay. the vet tech came out, and recomended, that we do a blood sceen to determine if our papion was okay to spay. ( an addition 50$ ) then we are recomended to use anistetia for our dog, so she can be asleep for the proceedure that is an additional 25.00. then we were told that it is recomended that we get pain pills for her, an additional 25.00. the vet tech then proceeded to explain to us, that in case of an emergency, he would recomend that we put a cathider in her for an addition 25.00. ( see where I am going!!) we also found out that they have done thirty one spays and neuters that day already!! this was 1;00 pm in the afternoon ( WHAT A MILL!! ) . needless to say, 60 bucks sure turned out to be a lot of money! and to top it off, we care to much for our papion to leave her in the hands of a vet hospital that belives in speed and profit over the care of our dog. the vet tech, Carmen, was very rude also when we questioned their practises. We found out later through our community that there are lawsuites against this vet hostpital for killing pets through negligence ! Alexiy was a Samoyed whose mother and her siblings did the Kibbles 'n Bits commercial, 4 Sammies eating normal food as a pack of dogs run by voicing the name of K&B. Alexiy had rapidly deteriorated in a matter of days. An animal person with many rescues also advised Mission, their writeups, were perfect for me. I felt awful calling clinics as though I were price shopping for an animal worth more than costs. Within hours of my call to Mission, it was vital I put him down immediately. Mission held my hand for 6 hrs as I held Alexiy, their arrival was so professional, subdued, fully trained well and I'd placed a barrier and towel upon a 120 yr-old chaise Alexiy loved. Two other four-legged friends were placed in another room. I handed the young vet his stethescope for the final proof both the pre-relaxation shot and the IV functioned well. Mission allowed Alexiy to cross the Rainbow Bridge to greet Sammies he'd not seen in ages; my other animals knew the instant the door opened outside my bedroom, that Alexiy was gone. Thank you Mission and that particulary young vet for his professionalism. Bentley, my American Eskie begins his first shots with Mission as I have changed vets. Mission Animal Hospital is a great hospital. They take good care of our pets and they are very affordable, they also have great plans for our pets as well. Their staff has great customer service. This is by far the best Animal Hospital I have ever gone to. I was tired of being charged so much money just for shots and vaccines in the other Hospital. Since I have 6 pets in total, I go every 2 weeks,since 3 of my dogs got their legs broken. So its a ordinary thing for me taking the dogs. But then my friend told me about Mission Animal Hospital. So I decided to try it out and was amazed. As soon as I walked in I was handed a Registration slip. As soon as I turned that in I was treated. They treated me with respect and took care of my dog as if he was one of their own. The Hospital was clean and it is clean every time I go in. As they gave my dog back they explained what was wrong wit him and subscribed me some medicine. They explained how when I should give him the medicine and how many amounts. They also have very low prices for vaccines, X-Rays, Dental Cleaning etc. I recommend this Hospital to EVERYONE. They treated me and my pet with respect and generosity. So if you have a sick dog or cat Mission Animal Hospital is the place to go. more

mission animal hospital . when i was looking for a place to take my dogs i found mission hospital and i check out the place . it is very neat and clean place. i was greeted right away when i walkd in .. it didnt take long to get seen .. the staff were real friendly and careing , i love bringing my dogs here ... the prices are real great also .. i tell my friends and neightbors about mission hospital ... i recomeded it to anyone ...thank you mission hospital !!!! more

mission animal hospital i brought a few puppys here and i was help out right ||[] away and the staff are real good and friendly . one of my puppys was hurt and the doctor was very careing and he was real great to answer all my questions .. i like bringing the rest of my dogs here ... the prices are very very reasonable and in most cases cheaper then most , i recomend anyone to come to misson animal hospital.. more

I moved to Palmdale 4 months ago.I have two 7 year old dogs that have seen the same vet since they were born.Recently they became sick. So I took them back to the valley to see their vet., after the move. But did no see any improvement for them. I recently took both my dogs to Mission Animal Hospital for care. The experienced staff gave me the best care and knowledge on what to expect for the future of my dogs. With the doctors orders and information they have given me I have seen a difference in not only their health but they seem stronger and happier than there previous vet' s orders. I recommend Mission Animal Hospital for all your pet's need's. more

Since i was referred to Mission Animal Hospital i have to say i wont change this place for any other vet. I have always been pleased with their attention towards animals. They are always recommending whats best for my pets. This is a really affordable hospital that has extended hours compared to the other hospitals around the Antelope Valley and i would keep traveling long distance to get the services they offer. I just want to thank the doctors and staff for taking good care of my pets!!! more

It's unfortunate that somebody had a bad experience because I've been going to Mission Animal Hospital for the past six months with my two dogs and I've had such a good experience every time. They're VERY affordable, with excellent customer service. I was tired of waiting for AT LEAST an hour at my other vet just for a shot, so once I found this hospital I was relieved. Mission Animal Hospital is by far the best hospital I have ever visited. As soon as I entered the place thier were workers ready to help me and my dog. Thier workers are very respectful and easy to understand. They took care of my dog from top to bottom. Thier hospital is very clean and sanitary. Mission Animal Hospital has been one of my best experiences I have ever had. They have one of the most respectfull staff I have ever seen with me and my pets! If I were to recomend any hospital, I would of course choose Mission Animal Hospital. They have really good sanitary maintinance. They suck. No customer service . No bathroom to wash my hands so I can touch my puppy. They never clean up after all these people walk in with their animal. There is only one main room where all wait in and the other is just a room to talk in private , both rooms don't get cleaned . And there are no sinks to just to wash hands. Don't go to this vet hospital unless you want to save some money just know that here at this vet, you get what you pay for. more
