I was referred to Mint Salon by my neighbor. I was going to a mediocre place before that and had the hair to prove it. I saw one stylist at Mint when I first started going there, but it was very hard for me to work around her schedule (this person is no longer there). Finally I said ""just put me with somebody...anybody"" and that's when I started going to Mary. Mary is the absolute best! I get more compliments on my hair now than I ever did before. The color is amazing, it always looks great, my hair is more healthy now than it's ever been since I've been coloring it, she is in the salon several days a week so it is easier to get an appointment. Since I come in at regular intervals, Mary has even contacted me from time to time to remind me to make an appointment when I forget. I've never worked with a stylist before that is this good and cares this much. If you're looking for a salon, go to Mint and ask for Mary. more

I live in the Virginia-Highlands neighborhood and was interested in switching salons (I used to go to Van Michael). I decided to try Mint, and I'm so glad I did! Michael was AMAZING. Not only did he give me the exact cut I was looking for, while he was styling my hair he took the time to explain how he was using the brush and blow dryer so that I could re-create the same look at home. I am not one to get facials every few months, but after noticing the ""Hawt on Yelp"" special of 50% off facials at select salons, I decided it was the perfect opportunity! After reading the reviews of the different salons offered, I settled on Mint Salon in Midtown. This salon is set at the intersection of 10th Street and Monroe Dr. The Mint Salon is a funky looking salon from the outside with a vibrant beat of Midtown on the inside. It is hip, refreshing, welcoming, and entertaining. The only downside of my experience was having to wait about 5 minutes to be greeted, since the front receptionist was on the phone. But that is a small downside compared to the incredible experience I had. After checking in, I was quickly greeted by a young lady named Ania who did my facial. She made me completely comfortable and relaxed. I didn't feel like I had to ""make conversation"" throughout the facial as I have some other places when getting services done. She wanted me to relax quietly and use all of my senses to get the full experience of the facial. On top of the facial, Ania also massaged my shoulders and arms while my face rested under a warm towel and exfoliating face mask. After the hour long facial, she did not try to push any products on me or sell me anything I did not need. This is a big positive for me! I do not like when I go somewhere and they push unnecessary products that they think you need. It puts an uncomfortable pressure on me and often keeps me from going back. Ania did not try to sell me anything, and politely gave me her card as I left. My skin is now glowing and is incredibly soft! Ania at Mint Salon definitely did not just give me a facial, but an incredible overall experience as well.\r more

So excited to hear Malory is now on board at Mint Salon! I have been getting my color with her for a while with no disappointments. I also LOVE the way she styles my hair! I have been going to Justin at Mint for about a year. He is fantastic. He is a very skilled and very talented stylist. Not to mention entertaining as well!! Every time he cuts/colors my hair, I am amazed. He always manages to take my look to another level. He listens to all my hair concerns. He gives me options and suggestions for the look I am trying to achieve. I have never been happier with my hair. Typically, a few times a week, people compliment my hair style. Glen recently joined the great talent team at Mint Salon. I've been going to him for the last two years and have never been disappointed. I recently got my highlights and cut done by Michele Riedel and am so pleased. I have never been as happy with my color until I started going to Michele. She has great ideas and really takes the time to make sure that I am happy with how my hair turns out. The cut is amazing too; I don't even have to tell her what I want because I always know that it will look great. I highly recommend her for a cut and especially color, not to mention she's a total sweetheart! Love it! more

I recently had my hair highlighted and cut by Michele and I couldn't be more pleased with the look! She was super friendly, took the time to determine my likes and dislikes and gave great styling tips. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. I have to admit, I was hesitant to get any more than a trim (I have had the same blunt, long hair forever) but she reassured me I could easily manage my new cut and she was right. I love my hairstylist Michele. I prefer a very vibrant shade of red hair which is difficult to color & make look natural. She always manages to give me beautiful color whether it is a touch up or highlights. She also gives a great haircut, she knows exactly what I want & I am always happy with the finished style. She goes that extra mile to suggest products to keep my hair looking good in-between visits. When I leave the shop I can to look forward to many compliments on my hair. She always makes me feel welcome with a warm smile & her friendly personality. more

i actually love this place and consider it a treat when i get to go. the woman who does the waxing there, i forgot her name but she's from poland, is amazing at what she does, and incredibly sweet. the entire staff is pleasant and seem to thouroughly enjoy working there and working in there industry. I've been trying to get the perfect color for YEARS. I would always ask previous color specialists to match my skin tone and to bring out the beauty! I was never completely satisfied until I came to Mint Salon. I had Emily color my hair just perfect. I recieved so many compliments on my hair and since I've moved out of the Atlanta area, I'm still going back there no matter how far the drive. Emily really knows hair color and the perfect match for me. I feel great about myself and confident since I've gotten my hair done there. I couldn't be happier with this place and I really recommened it to everyone! more

After being in Atlanta for over 11 years, one would think that I would have been able to find someone that could cut my hair correctly. Finally I met Dusty at MInt! He actually took the time to look at the way my hair grows and consult with me about the best cut for me and how to maintain it as it grows. Dusty is extremely talented and very knowledgable about the products that the salon carries. I have visited some of the ""chain"" shops as well as ""upscale"" salons dedicated to only one product line. Nowhere have I had this kind of attentive service! I have traveled quite a bit over the last year and a couple of times had to go to a shop out of town usually to return to Dusty to fix it. Its not surpizing that he has quite a following. I will certainly be a client of his for the long haul! The rest of the stylists and staff at Mint are very nice as well and always make me feel welcome. From what I have observed, there is a high level of professionalism and talent at Mint in an atmosphere that is both relaxing and rejuvinating at the same time. I was recommended to go to Michelle by a friend because I loved her hair color. She said Michelle's the best, and sure enough...she is the best! I barely explained what I wanted, and she picked out three beautiful colors to highlight and lowlight my hair. She really knows what looks best on everyone. The entire staff is incredible friendly, and I enjoyed my entire experience because of this. They stay open late during the week, so I can go after work and still get a relaxing, non-rushed experience before the salon closed. Michelle also specializes in wedding hairdo's. She gave me some great ideas and played with my hair, and now I want her to do my hair for my wedding. I'll definitely be back in a couple months! more
