We replaced all our windows with Pinnacle Lindsay replacement windows through Minnesota Exteriors. This was a large investment to do all the windows but it came out much better compared to other companies and installers out there. The two installers arrived on-time each day and completed the work quickly and professionally. They were VERY experienced and cleaned up after themselves as well. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone. If you are looking at some of those large companies out there selling their own windows, take a look at Minnesota Exteriors. They have a large selection of windows of better quality and at a lower price. You'll get an unbiased opinion, not sold on a single brand of windows. For us we went with the Pinnacle Lindsay Windows which are made here in Minnesota. I would highly recommend Minnesota Exteriors for your replacement windows - they know their stuff! more

We had MEI replace some windows. I am satisfied with the outcome and I'd use them again. The installers did a great job and were professional and courteous. They also worked very efficiently, which is good when you're having something like windows replaced. The communication from this business was also very good. We had some back-ordered windows, and we were kept informed of the situation. My phone calls were always returned promptly. I recommend this company. more

Over the summer I had both siding and stone work done on my rambler and they did a great job in giving it a fresh new updated look that is the envy of the neighborhood. Very competitive pricing and great selection of product. Communication during some parts of the process could have been better, and some attention to detail of my crew at least, could have been better, but in the end everything turned out great. They were able to do a computer rendering of what the house would look like after installation and it was spot on, samples for everything used were provided so you knew just what you were getting. I would recommend them to any others who are looking for friendly, competitive pricing! more

We recently had MEI (Minnesota Exteriors Inc) do a full roof replacement on our 1917 bungalow in Minneapolis. The entire experience with MEI was excellent. Our first meeting with Dan (sales) was no pressure and he seemed most interested in answering our questions and making sure that we felt comfortable with the process, rather than selling us a roof. Dan had a thorough knowledge of the product line, warranties, financing, and scheduling. After we received our estimate from Dan, I had to contact him a few more times to ask some minor questions and each time he was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable with his replies. The process of applying for the 12 months same as cash financing option was a breeze with the help of Dan and when we needed to delay the installation by a few weeks due to a personal circumstance the office team was great about that. Minnesota Exteriors performed work at my previous residence, steel siding, fascia, soffit, and windows replacement. Since I was extremely pleased with their work, they replaced the roof last August at my current residence. The roof replacement took one and a half days. It looks so nice and professional! I'm a young, single, new home owner with no window experience; their suggestions were helpful and appreciated. \r \r After I put in my order and waited the few weeks to manufacture my custom windows, the installers came. It just so happened that the day of installation was during one of the extremely cold streaks with really bad roads. The installers braved the treacherous roads to come the day of my install. They were a little late, but, really, who can blame them? They put blankets down in the entrance way where they stored most of their gear and took shoes off when inside. It was a two man team with one outside and one inside. They moved quickly and were focused despite the terribly cold weather. They stayed a full day and managed to install all the windows. They cleaned up after themselves both inside and out, vacuuming wood shavings due to cutting out the old windows and picked up and hauled away all pieces of the old windows. \r \r All-in-all, my Minnesota Exteriors' window replacement was a positive experience and have no set backs to speak of. I tested for any airflow around the newly installed windows during the extremely cold days when it was around -20 degs F and windy and couldn't feel a thing. I'd say they did a quality install. The new windows are so much better than my breezy, rotted, 27 year old wood windows. Not to mention, I was happy with costs, considering they handled everything from beginning to end, including scheduling and paying for the inspector. We had Minnesota Exteriors reside our house with steel siding along with some gutter/downspout work and are very pleased with all aspects of the job. Being in the trades myself, I am extremely particular about choosing someone to work on my own home. From start to finish MEI followed through on everything they committed to. The installers (Ben & Mark) were very professional & courteous and did an impeccable job in every detail, including a thorough cleanup and contact with Lorna in the home office was smooth throughout. As my wife was expecting with a due date of Nov 20, we wrote the contract agreeing to being done with project on Nov 19, which they did and, sure enough, the next day we had the baby! We went to a few Home Improvement shows to check out different siding companies and see what they had to offer. We decided to go with Minnesota Exteriors after looking at at all the options available, we were glad we did! The salesperson (Bob) was extremely helpful and made several excellent recommendations, and no sales pressure at all! The crew doing the re-siding were very hard-working and did a fabulous job, the house appearance looked amazing after it was done.
