DO NOT USE!!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Should have seen the red flags. They were unhelpful, unresponsive, they will not work with the customer if issues arise, and have poor workmanship. Have had to come back to my house numerous times to fix my fence and it is still not right. Numerous times of not showing up and a lot of miscommunication on how we wanted to job done. It was supposed to be a simple and straightforward job! I don't even know where to begin...my project was supposed to take 4-6 weeks and is still dragging out 6 months later! I wanted to keep the business with a local company - BIG MISTAKE. STAY AWAY FROM MILLS FENCE and use anyone else in Cincinnati - LOWES would have done a better job! more

Mills Fence Company installed my fence in a timely manner. Their price was excellent. I was so pleased to see the professional way they worked. The materials they used are so good our condo management called them for fence replacements in our community. Every owner considering replacing their fence is sent to see my fence!!! Another wonderful thing about Mills Fence is they are honest and stand behind their product. They are proud of their work. I highly recommend this company!!! My experience with Mills Fence Company has been nothing but a pleasure. I have used then for several projects over the last few years and have found them to be very professional, reasonably priced and they stand behind there installation and products. The crew that did the last installation was friendly and when they left you could hardly tell they were there. I would highly recommend them if you in the market for a fence. first I will say that after getting the fence installed it looks very good! BUT we had to have a final inspection from the county for zoning and realized that mills fence built one side of our fence longer than what it was suppose to be! Instead of 29' they built it 33 1/2' which puts us to far to get our approval for our inspection! The contract that I signed clearly states that it should be 29' and when my husband contacted the owner, the owner stated that he had spoken to both his estimator and his contractor and they both said that 33 1/2' is where WE wanted the fence and there was nothing he could do about it but if we wanted to pay him $700 more he would be more than happy to come and move it for us! So his employes are NOT above lying and to be in compliance with the county we are going to have to move the fence ourselves!!! Considering we live in an upcoming subdivision we will not be recommending this company to anyone else! So be sure to be there if you do go with this compan more

Overall, I'm happy with the fence. But if you contract with Mills Fence, please be aware that my salesman gave me several pieces of incorrect information. In addition, the installer and the office staffers are just plain rude, unhelpful and unresponsive. For example, the installer didn't show up on the day he said that he would. His excuse, "We don't like to work in the rain." Which I suppose would be okay, except it wasn't raining! more

I purchased a vinyl fence to show on both sides of my home. I have a chain link fence and I didn't want it seen from the front of home. I am VERY disappointed in Overall everything dealing with Mills Fence. I can't begin to state the issues that have occured thru the beginning estimate, emailed that night, very vague, and my signature was never requested, I tried 5 times to get an installation date and I was told they were very busy and couldn't even give me an estimate timeframe for installation,although I had requested with my salesman that I needed the fence install by the 1st of June. He assured me that could be done. I still don't know if both sides are installed correctly, but I had notifed customer service many times. she sent out their "master installer" without calling me to give me a date and time. I was not at home when he showed up, so therefore, I did not get to show him MY concerns. He returned back to office and said it was great???? No one would return my calls or listen to me from that point. I took pictures of the left side of my home where the alumimun fence post was covered perfect and as I wanted. The right side is not that way- The aluminum fence post is about 2 1/2 inches from the vinyl end pole. I have emailed pictures and emailed a request to please call me, without any response. I also called many times and left messages, along with the emails to owner, Mr. Mills.A lien was placed on my home within 60 days, through their attorney. I have no problem paying for the fence I ordered. I have told them that with my correspondece. My fence cost was only $1,350.00. I don't want to pay yet, because I know they will never fix this after they receive my money and I will have to have another company repair it. I have been in sales for 20 years and I would NEVER have treated my customer the way that I have been treated with all at Mills. If I had treated my customers this way, I would have been dismissed from my position. One other note, the installers came to install without a wheelbarrow for the dirt to be removed and they asked me where I wanted the excess dirt put??? I happened to have a place that they could put the dirt, but what if I had not? I have been working on resolving this sincve June 14th. I am in shock that a company that has been in business since the 70's has not learned business customer service. I hope you, as a prospect looking for a new fence, read my long review, I would not wish this company on my worst enemy. TJk 9-7-10 more

If you are searching for a fence company...remember...you get what you pay for!! We had several estimates and Mills Fence was around $600 cheaper. Being on a budget, we went with Mills. Big mistake. Our fence looks TERRIBLE! The gates are uneven, the boards are uneven and some of the wood is bad. The three guys that came out that day were in a hurry and just being lazy. I called to complain and J.R said it was unaccepatable and it would be fixed.They came out once and I am not sure what they did, but it still looked the same! So, J.R came out to look at it after I called to complain again..again, he agreed it looked terrible and said they would be back out to fix some of the mistakes. I am still sitting here with horrible looking fence weeks later. Even the things he said they would fix still won't make it right...short of tearing the thing down and starting over. Some of the posts are not in the ground as far, some too far. Then they say the ground is uneven, no...you didn't bury the post right!!! They also buried one post to close to the gutter that they just threw the bottom part of the downspout in the yard...and it won't go back on!!! I got an estimate from the Fence Company and wish I would have spent the money because driving around town, their fences look great.
