I purchased a vinyl fence to show on both sides of my home. I have a chain link fence and I didn't want it seen from the front of home. I am VERY disappointed in Overall everything dealing with Mills Fence. I can't begin to state the issues that have occured thru the beginning estimate, emailed that night, very vague, and my signature was never requested, I tried 5 times to get an installation date and I was told they were very busy and couldn't even give me an estimate timeframe for installation,although I had requested with my salesman that I needed the fence install by the 1st of June. He assured me that could be done. I still don't know if both sides are installed correctly, but I had notifed customer service many times. she sent out their "master installer" without calling me to give me a date and time. I was not at home when he showed up, so therefore, I did not get to show him MY concerns. He returned back to office and said it was great???? No one would return my calls or listen to me from that point. I took pictures of the left side of my home where the alumimun fence post was covered perfect and as I wanted. The right side is not that way- The aluminum fence post is about 2 1/2 inches from the vinyl end pole. I have emailed pictures and emailed a request to please call me, without any response. I also called many times and left messages, along with the emails to owner, Mr. Mills.A lien was placed on my home within 60 days, through their attorney. I have no problem paying for the fence I ordered. I have told them that with my correspondece. My fence cost was only $1,350.00. I don't want to pay yet, because I know they will never fix this after they receive my money and I will have to have another company repair it. I have been in sales for 20 years and I would NEVER have treated my customer the way that I have been treated with all at Mills. If I had treated my customers this way, I would have been dismissed from my position. One other note, the installers came to install without a wheelbarrow for the dirt to be removed and they asked me where I wanted the excess dirt put??? I happened to have a place that they could put the dirt, but what if I had not? I have been working on resolving this sincve June 14th. I am in shock that a company that has been in business since the 70's has not learned business customer service. I hope you, as a prospect looking for a new fence, read my long review, I would not wish this company on my worst enemy. TJk 9-7-10 more
