The process was effortless. There was none of the back and forth with the financial manager, like I had dealt with in the past with other dealerships. No haggling. The price was there and instead of dealing with the salesperson on whether I qualified for the vehicle, I was brought in to speak with a financial person. i bought a truck from mike smith last month.the salesman and ""manager"" lied to me about all money that could be given to a customer!(dealer cash)they are not required to tell you about this money if they dont want to.it was only when a honest dealer told me about this money that i asked about it.to this day this ""manager has said i recieved it,i still dont think i did!he has called me,harassed me,and told me next time to buy from someone else,I WILL.this is the 4th veh. i have bought from this dealer and will be the last,this person has no clue about how to be straight with people.if its true i got the money put it in wrighting like the other dealer and dont just say it,people tend to belive what they see!i will not recomend mike smith to anyone!!!if they dont want to know what is wrong they shouldn't send a survey to the customer!they deserve the low rateing based on attitude alone! more

Watch Out 6/21/2007

My mother recently purchased a jeep from this dealership. The salesman was very nice and low pressure, but the financial people are shady. My mother told them that all she wanted was gap insurance. When it came time to sign papers, she asked what each one was and was informed that several of them were for the gap insurance. She felt unsure, so brought copies of all that she had signed to me to review. It turns out that the papers for the ""gap insurance"" where extended warranties and coverages totaling over 2,000 dollars. When we went back to the dealer and confronted them, they informed us that we had already signed and that only one of the coverages were refundable. Pros: Knowledgeable staff and friendly sales people. Cons: Look out when it gets to signing the papers. more
