I must agree w the review below!!! Yuri def knows how to run this place nice n tight with rules and professionalism. I send all my co workers to him as well as family members. I never question or have to worry about his honesty if theres something wrong with my car!!! I stopped even asking him how much the repairs would cost because at the end of it I know he's giving me a good price and most importantly a trustworth diagnosis! I have been a customer of Midas Glendale for about 4 years now. I recently discovered that Yuri is the owner and the operator of the franchised store. Not only is his service EXCEPTIONAL, but quality and price is beyond right. I used to take my vehicle to many other nationally recognized chains and Midas Glendale is by far the one who has EARNED my business and alllllll of my friends and family cars. Yuri is ALWAYS honest and straight forward with what my car needs. Half the time he doesn't even charge me for little stuff like bulbs of tire repairs. I use him for all of my oil changes, brakes, tune ups and they recently did a complete transmission job on my mother's van. Sometimes they take a while to service but the time is well worth the wait. Yuri is young guy but don't be fooled, he's been in the business for LONG TIME and knows cars but mostly SERVICE AND RESPECT. Sometimes you just get a good or bad vibe from shops, midas glendale is super clean and organized. The owner/operator is always hands on in whatever goes on in the shop. I have never seen him TAKE OFF FROM WORK which is crazy but Midas Glendale earns their business. They have a reputation that many shops don't. Hint, oil changes, come in the morning!!! Afternoons there get super bgusy and can take some time. I always drop the car off and walk next door to the Americana and hang out. Anyways, THANKS MIDAS GLENDALE AND THANK YOU YURI!!! I've been going to Midas Glendale on Elk for oil changes over the past year and a half... probably 4 or 5 times. I know oil changes are not big money makers for shops, but I'm always treated as if I'm a big spender, even though I've only done oil changes. Lo and Behold, Yuri Stein tells me that my oil change is on the house today, December 12th. I barely know the guy, but he appreciates my loyalty and I have been rewarded. I don't know much about their mechanics' abilities, but I will definitely give them a shot when I need something fixed based on how I've been treated over the past year and a half. I'm a sales manager myself, and it's difficult to impress me as I am very picky and maybe overly critical, but I am very impressed! Pros: Wise Business Practice, Good Communication, Great Prices Cons: None seen so far.... more

Took my car in for a brake inspection. The dealer tried selling me approx 2k worth of needed brake repairs. I took it to the Midas in Glendale which I've used before for some shocks and struts on my wife's car. They have this amazing life time warranty deal going on which saves us a lot of money because we put high miles on our cars. The manager there, Yuri, was extremely helpful and friendly. His entire staff and all the mechanics were nice and very professional and welcoming. They all seem to be certified and knowledgeable on auto repair. THEY ENDED UP FIXING AND RE DOING MY ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM FOR 500 DOLLARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was just in there to get my car checked out with the understanding it was going to be a free $150 diagnostic check, the car was in there all day and the first impression everybody seemed to be courteous and really nice, however when it came to getting my car back there was a problem and knowing my girfriend had to be at work they would not release my car until they got paid which they did...the estimate I got was way over priced...I did some comparisons after the fact and I got some way lower estimates...bottom line Yuri could see the puzzled look on my face knowing I knew nothing about cars and it looked like a perfect chance for a great rip off!!!! so on that note I would not be taking my vehicle to midas ever again or recommend them to anyone...you got your 50 midas...50 slaps... Pros: I was able to get my car back Cons: ripped off on diagnostic for transmission,bad attitudes. more

I also noticed that almost all of the good reviews written here are most likely written by this Midas shop. Notice how each reviewer has only written one review (I will be writing more in the future). Most reviewers tend to write more than one. The customer service at this auto shop was amazing! The manager and mechanics explained every detail about the problems I was having with my car and their suggestions. The place was so reasonable and did not overcharge me at all! My car has been working amazing and I have already referred some friends from school who are all extremely pleased with the shop. I would highly recommend this MIDAS for any car problems, towing, oil changes, or engine issues. After a lot of searching and driving to other shops nearby, I would definiteley recommend this place over any other! Pros: AMAZING auto service, honest, reasonable, professional people! more
