I cannot say enough about the people that work here. I am and elderly widowed lady that cannot get around as easily as I could in my younger years. My dear friend Martin T recommended that I call. They offered to come to my home free and take my computer to their shop. I was reluctant that it would take a long time. I rely on my computer to stay in touch with my family and friends, so I was reluctant. Anyway they had it for 2 days and brought it back to me. The total charge to fix my problems was 79.00. I later found out that is their hourly rate. I had called others and they ranged from 65.00 to 115.00. I will recommend Micromobile Computers to all. Thank you. more

Excellent IT Support in San Diego 1/7/2012

Our company has used MicroMobile on several occasions, even though we have an excellent IT staff, Occasionally we'll get hit with problems that are just to difficult to resolve quickly. We always ask for Frank when we need support. He has never failed us. I cannot say enough about Frank and his expertise. He simply knows how to tackle our most difficult network problems.We have referred MicroMobile to other colleagues equally satisfied. more

They're GGGGRRRRRREEEEEAAAAAATTTTT! 9/23/2011

I was going to throw away my DV9000 since I dropped it and cracked the screen. Went on Ebay, found a screen took a chance brought it to Micromobil and they charged 39.00 to install. Luckily that was all that broke on my laptop. Got it back the same day too. Def. Recommend! more

Refreshing Service Experience !!! 6/27/2011

First off...I called 4 or 5 other places before deciding on this one. Most were answering machines or voice mail. I needed to talk to someone about my notebook problem. Got through to a friendly lady who assured me they would be able to fix my problem (She believed I had caught a nasty bug virus). I decided to have a technician come out to my office and do the work here. I was more concerned about my data than the notebook at this point.The tech was very courteous and obviously knowledgeable. I felt at ease when he began to backup my important files before proceeding. A great relief. He then ""scanned"" my notebook and found what he'd suspected and removed it. All-in all, after everything, my notebook runs faster, my day is intact and the bill didn't send me into shock. I will use this company again (if need be) and will recommend them to all. more

Very pleased with their PS3 repair. 4/25/2011

As the parent of a 15 year old boy, I am keenly aware of his trans-fixation with the mysterious black box that allows me my little bit of freedom. Namely the Playstation 3. Thanks to these wonderful people, I have my little bit of freedom back and my son is happy. That makes momma happy. Thank you for fixing it so quickly. I do so appreciate it! 5 stars for this business. more

Quickly fixed my Alienware Gaming Notebook!!! 3/21/2011

Ok so I brought my Alienware notebook in reluctantly, but needed if fixed. Reluctantly, because I go thru withdrawals when I can't game :-(- The symptoms were 1. Not starting into Windows 7 and 2. Very loud fans The girl at the counter was calming and reassured that they would get to it quickly. So I left my AW and took family to Lego-land An hour and a half later a tech calls with diagnostics. He tells me that the fans are actually fine - just needed to be cleaned. Good news. The reason for not getting into windows was a failed Microsoft Update. Ok so what is the cost? 79.00 !!! and it would be ready in an hour (Same Day)!!! Very impressed. On our way back from Lego-land, I picked up my baby and had a perfect evening of Dawn of War! I will refer them to all gamers, family and friends! more

Fixed my Dell Laptop for 79 1/17/2011

My screen was practically falling off of my Inspiron. I didn't think it was fixable. They fixed it same day for 79.00. Works like new - they replaced the ""y"" key on my keyboard too. If I ever have to use computer repair again I'll go back! more

Cort fixed my laptop after my girlfriend accidentally broke my screan after only 2 months or using it. only charged 134 to fix. got quotes from other people that were over 200. place in carlsbad wanted 340. more

Very good service and unexpectedly fair! 6/24/2010

Brought in my sons laptop for broken DC terminal, they quoted $79. I approved the quote, when I went to pickup, they dropped the price to $39. They said they were able to fix it within a half hour. I am pleased to recommend this company to all. I don't typically review company's, however, was compelled due to their fair nature. Pros: Very good service and unexpectedly fair! more

Love Love Love these guys! 6/18/2010

My son had us hooked up with netflix using his xbox unit. When it went down, we all got upset. I am sooooo glad I found this company to fix the unit. They fixed it fast and their receptionist was very cordial and helpful. She was comforting as well. We felt at ease with Micro-mobile and are grateful for our working Xbox 360. Pros: Fixed my sons xbox 360 game unit. more

I am a new fan of micromobil 11/2/2009

Iam a computer novice and was reluctant to hire just anybody. I was referred to micromobil by a colleague who highly recommended them, I was pleasantly surprised. I spoke at length to the owner (Dennis sp?) who assured me my computer and data was safe with them. The technician that worked on my computer called and explained in very easy-nontechnical terms why my computer no longer got on the internet. He had my computer back to me the same day, working fine and installed a program that will prevent this problem from re-occurring. I am a new fan of this company. Good customer support - Beats Fryes!!!!! 7/31/2008

Fryes couldn't even fix there own GQ desktop. They recommended that I just replace it with a new model. I decided to take it elsewhere for a 2nd opinion. I am glad I did. My 2nd choice was a winner. Steve at Micro Mobile found that the only problem with my computer was a virus. He was able to clean it up and my computer works as well as it did when it was new. I have to agree with most everyone else here. These guys are good. more

Best Xbox360 repair center in San Diego 7/3/2008

I had the dreaded 3rod (3 red lights of death). I sent it back to microsoft the first time and they sent me a refurbished unit back - this is how they handle their warranty. As soon as my warranty was up, yep, you guessed it, 3rod again. Pros: they know how to fix xbox360's - that's for sure! Cons: at first I thought the price to repair it was a little steep but when they showed me what they did to it - it was worth it:) more

We went through a horrible fiasco with another computer company until our neighbor reffered micromobile. They were up front about the cost. They were confident they could rectify the previous mistakes made by the unmentionable ""computer company"". The cost to get everything up and running as I expected was reasonable. We're very happy with them and you will be too! Pros: Very nice group of people. Very knowledgeable and fair. more

Best computer repair, explanation of how to do (whatever you need); only one to solve the problem 4/28/2008

I had 4 different computer system repair services to my office, Only Frank of Micromobile solved the problem in the end. They are readily available, answer your phone questions the day you call and are, always on time, and available for the 'computer crises' that arise. I have never waited what I would consider too long for their services. I would never use anyone else for my home or office, computer, integrated computer system, or internet access problems. Professional, reliable, and delightful for me and my staff to work with. No one could be better! Pros: professional, reliable, and a great member of the office team. more

Honest and Dependable 4/18/2008

Our office has been using Micromobile for the last 10 years. I can tell you that these guys are honest. You don't come across a company like this very often. We actually overpaid them once and they promptly called to inform us of our error. We would like to recommend their services to one and all. No we are not getting paid to say this either. Try them out. Pros: Honest and Reliable Cons: Wish there were more business' like them! more
