Michael Hohl Subaru

I had a great experience at Michael Hohl Honda and would highly recommend them. I live in Reno and decided to head south after feeling like I was getting the run around at a Reno dealership. I came in knowing how much my trade in was worth, and knowing what payment I wanted. I called first and gave them all of my specifics first to make sure we could make a deal without wasting anyone's time. I was firm on the payment and told them that upfront. They treated me with respect and they were even great with my 5-year old Son. There was no back and forth with them trying to get a higher payment out of me and no attempt to up sell me on a fancier car. I drove away in my new car in less than 2 hours, including all paperwork, detailing new car, cleaning out junk in my trade in, etc., which is priceless when you have your child with you. I worked with Gordon and Levi, so be sure to ask for them. And Levi even met me in Reno to pick up my spare set of keys for my trade in, which saved me a trip back. If you live in Reno, it's worth the trip to Carson. I will definitely return the next time we need a car. more

I had nothing but an excellent experience while buying my Subaru through Michael Hohl. Everyone there was extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I asked my sales man about other cars from other companies I was considering and instead of putting other companies down, he simply told me why Subaru is comparable to the other cars from my research. He let me test drive as many cars as I wanted and knew the answers to my hundreds of questions. Now, the process of buying the car did take quite awhile, but that seems to be with every dealership. I was able to counteroffer with what I thought my trade in value was and they were willing to meet me at a reasonable price for the car I traded in. To top it off they imputed my phone numbers into the bluetooth system and showed me how to utilize everything the new radio system has to offer. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership and Brian Green as the salesman. This guy knows his stuff!! more

We bought our first car from Michael Hohl Honda and got nothing but amazing service. We decided it was time for a new car and were deciding Honda CR-V and a Subaru. We decided to check out the Subaru's first. We went in on Saturday at noon and here's how things went for us.\r Sean Lyman was the salesperson who helped us out. He was very knowledgeable about the Subaru's without being pushy. We were leaning towards a Forester based on internet research but checked out the Outback as well. Sean asked us what we wanted out of a car and explained the difference between the two cars. We test drove both but fell IN LOVE with the Outback. more

Another excellent experience at Hohl's Honda. '04 I bought my Impreza there. The post sales services were always done right and the car ready at the promised time. In '07 I was in CA and drove a Honda Element. Just loved the practicality/size of the car.\r \r When I returned to C.C. I drove to Hohl's before I even went home. They didn't have the exact car there but we made the deal/trade while it was being delivered. It arrived colored and equipped exactly as promised and I drove it home that day. Again, post sales services done right and car always ready as promised.\r \r So finally, my friend wants a new affordable SUV and I take her to Hohl's. She trades her car for a new Honda CRV. She get's top ""trade in $$"" and we haven't seen that CRV sold anywhere for less. After the deal I present them with a ""coupon"" (on your next purchase, make your best deal then present this coupon and receive $300 off the deal you just made). This coupon is 5 years old. I got it from Hohl's when I bought the Element! The G.M. says ""honor it"". When the sales contract get's signed we failed to notice that the $300 was not included. The next day THEY call and inform us of their error. For our trouble of driving back in from Dayton to re-sign, they ""throw in"" a rear cargo mat!\r \r Hohl's has demonstrated over a long period that they want to keep customers for life. I not only recommend them, I have committed to them that we will not buy a car from anyone but them. Not off the internet, Reno or anywhere else. Even if we want a Ford or a Toyota we will go to them and buy an equivalent from their line-up. more

I had driven a Subaru before. I knew I liked the way the car handled - and the gas mileage - but I didn't know much else. Fortunately, Kevin and Dom are encyclopedic in their familiarity with the Subaru line. These two have really done their homework and I felt genuine benefit in their abilities to enthusiastically share that information with me. They understood that if I really knew about the value Subaru puts into their cars, I would want to join the legion of Subaru owners. They were right!\r \r When I really appreciated their professionalism and authenticity, was when we weren't in agreement and when we had some real issues to work out. It was then that I came to appreciate my good fortune to have encountered your sales team.\r \r When I decided to visit the dealership, I expected the sales staff to be an obstacle to my success. That I would have to work around them to get the car and the deal that I wanted. How pleased I was to discover that contrary to my initial expectations, Kevin and Dom really listened and worked to match me with just the right car. Traded my 2006 Subaru Forester in for a 2013 Forester. Kevin was beyond awsome in the way he helped me purchase my new vehicle. He had to go to numerous dealers to find one in the color I wanted and he did in short order. Kevin was able to get me the financing that I was looking for and was successful. Bottom line I am very happy with my new Subaru. While returning on a ski trip to LA from Reno, our Outback's idler pulley froze up shredding the serpentine belt and catching it on fire. lucky for us we were 1/4 mile from Michael Hohl Subaru in Carson City. We pulled in worried about arriving midday without an appointment and about spending an unscheduled night in Carson City. Service Advisor Brad Kiesow recognized our concerns and told us the parts were on hand and he'd try to get it done that day. He provided us a loaner car and directed us to local points of interest. In short, he provided outstanding service to two stranded travelers. In just a few hours the car was fixed and we were on our way. Unfortunately, that night we found we had left our ipad somewhere during our stop. Brad and other staff looked for it and found it a couple of days later. Brad shipped it to us in Los Angeles AT NO CHARGE! Terrific service- thanks Brad and Michael Hohl Subaru more

Gordon was extremely personable, as well as everyone else I dealt with (Levi & Derek). The whole transition was smooth, quick and unintimidating.
