Michael D'anna DDS

I have brought all three of my children to Dr. D'Anna over the course of 8 years. At each visit, I was always greeted politely and respectfully. The staff is always more then happy to help. As far as Dr. D'Anna, I always felt comfortable that he was leading me in the right direction with the care of my children. He even picked up on problematic situations that my General Dentist should have noticed. Financially, I never had a problem with the office, and when my insurance company was giving me a hard time about payment, the office was patient and helpful in submitting all the right paper work. So, when reading the reviews on Dr. D'Anna, you can imagine my surprise that these comments were about the Dr. and staff that I speak so highly of to friends and family. It's as though we are talking about two completely different people. Granted every patient and situation is different, I would urge prospective patients to make the decision for themselves. more

This doctor is a creep. When you first visit him he puts on a phoney act and he tries to make his patients comfrotable. After the first few visits he has a very demeaning way he treats his patients. He tries to humiliate them. I should know., both my children went to him and he removed there braces just at the time the insurance stopped paying. When their braces came off he gave them a retainer. Immidiatley when they took off the reatiner at night their teeth started to shift. well of corse he blamed it on them. The first child , I didn,t know better, but when it happened to my son I knew the man was a terrible, terrible orthodontist. GO TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! more

Dr D'Anna is a a rude individual and I would not recommend him for many specific reasons. First of all, he had taken my braces off too early the first time when they clearly needed to stay on longer. A few weeks later, my teeth started to shift and he made sarcastic comments to me about it. I mean hey, maybe that's his way of dealing with things, but he should be concerned as to why it has happened. After about a year and a half, I had stopped wearing my retainer in the day and only at night. My teeth would still shift, and I was accused of not wearing my retainer. Let's just give a little background-- I am a very responsible person and take care of myself, especially when it comes to my health. I went back to him, and he recommended that I get braces again and so I listened and did. Once again, THE SAME THING HAPPENED and I refuse to go back to him to listen to his nasty and egotistical comments. Dr D'Anna was highly recommended to us by a friend from school & we loved him! The office is big,bright and most of all CLEAN.\r Dr. D'Anna and staff were very friendly and helpful. \r I am paying out of pocket because they do not take my insurance and they worked out a payment plan that I can afford. I was recommended to this doctor by a friend and I am nothing but disappointed with my service. I went for an initial trial visit to get an assessment for braces. This orthodontist told me it would be around 10,000 dollars for what I needed ( every other doctor said less than half that price) then they automatically booked me a second appointment that I did not make or confirm and they start sending me bills in the mail harrassing me with phone calls because they said i owned $75 for a "no show" fee. I never got a confirmation call, nothing..and when I tried to dispute with them they were nasty and irate. there is only one lady who handles billing and she is only there ONE day a week...tried calling her that one day 3 weeks in a row - all i got was viocemail and no return phone call. This doctor is overpriced and unprofessional. I would not recommend him to an enemy. more

He has a pleasant demeanor. He told my son how long he would have braces on and that is just how long he had them on. He takes most insurance I belive since he accepted mine and I didn;t have to pay a penny. He continues check ups years after the braces are removed to make sure the teeth didn't move. more
