Michael Anthony's Pizza & Pasta

have been here several times, as well as ordering pizza delivery. Tonight we were very disappointed. they do not have fish on the menu, so we asked, after checking with the chef, we were told they had salmon with a cream sauce, but after asking if I could have it without the sauce, or at least on the side, I was told they check said "it wouldn't look good without the sauce. REALLY! Have never heard of such a thing. My husband ordered it, but tried not to eat most of the cream sauce, which actually overpowered the dish. We never asked the price of this "special" and were really surprised when the check arrived. It was $33.00, granted it come with ravioli, which we think was lobster, ( very sparse ). But for a restaurant of this caliber, the price was ridiculous. Unfortunately, we will not return here and will not recommend it to friends, all of us who dine out quite a bit. more

The best thin crust pizza and prices are very reasonable. Anything I have ever ordered has been great, from the subs to their catering menu-- I have never had a bad meal. more

I will admit Michael Anthony's makes a tasty pizza, but wow do they ever cut costs! He rarely spreads the cheest to the edge of the pie, meaning you get 3 to 4 inches of nothing but sauce for a topping. Beware of requesting toppings like bacon (it is not crispy so unless you like what amounts to warmed limp pork fat skip it) and onions (he rough chops them so big you get a huge mouthful of onion and not a blend of flavors). Also the front of his store is gross & needs a cleaning. more

There are a lot of pizza restaurants around town, but we always use Michael Anthony's. The pizza is great, with a delicious sauce and a thin crust, and the subs are so big and so filling that most people could never finish the entire thing in one sitting. The staff is also very pleasant and your food will always be ready on time. more
