I had the best time at the park :) We got some great savings and they had a special show going on for Xmas with the what, she even had a hat. The kids loved it and can't stop talking about all the fun they had. We really want to do the swimming with the dolphins and they now have this tank swim thing and a rope walking course, FUN! Can't wait to go back. Also, they rehabilitate manatees there, how awesome! more

Great time Great Savings! 9/28/2011

I went to the park and they had amazing savings, a give 4 and get 40% off. They are having something else soon. If you are not a Miami resident, look first for savings, there are lots. If you are a Miami resident, get the year pass. I had a blast with my friend and I want to go back soon. Good shows! more

AWESOME 9/6/2011

The family had a blast!!! Shows were great, Food was great and the employees are very friendly. GREAT DAY! We will go back. more

Pretty good trip 7/12/2011

The park is not huge, its not Disney. So go open minded and not with the idea that you are going to step into sea world. This is not sea world and if you are looking for something like that just go up to Orlando. This park is really cute, they have been around for a long time and the park is well kept. They have displays of different fish live. You can see the dolphins swimming around and its pretty cool to see them swimming when a show is going on. The shows are the main attraction/thing here! So make sure you call ahead to get the full schedule so you don't miss anything. They have a good variety of food... I like that it's a nice relaxing park and I'm not there for 10 hours, four hours is pretty much the most you will be here, which is perfect for anyone who wants to explore the city more. Overall, I really liked this cute place. more

Good place to take the kids 4/5/2011

Truthfully, this is an older aquarium and not a roller coaster type of attraction. It is old school in its appearance and that is what I like (character). They do great things; such as helping manatees who have been hurt (boating accidents, which is a pretty big thing down here in FL) and having family friendly events (egg hunt anyone?). It's nice and peaceful to walk around with the kids and learn about the sea life around us. more

Fine Older Aquarium with lots of Education 2/7/2011

It is suppose to be one of the first aquariums built. Yes, it is small, but when built, there were not regulations on sizes so did the best they could. I loved the manatees and the rehabilitation of them. more

Open your eyes, not your wallets 10/19/2010

This place desperately needs renovations. It looks as though the last real update was in the 80s. I was very sad to learn that their main attraction Lolita the killer whale has been in the same dilapidated tank for 40 years. If you have a conscience you will turn your car around and visit one of the many beautiful parks in here in South Florida. Please, open your eyes and not your wallets. This place masks itself as an educational facility, but in the end exploits its animals for entertainment. There is nothing educational in dolphins and killer whales splashing the crowd, bobbing their heads to music, and carrying trainers on their backs. The only reason why the animals perform tricks is because they're hungry. If you own a dog you will know what this means. Animals don't perform tricks on command if their stomachs are full and they're happy. If you want to see dolphins take your kids to the Keys, Ft Myers, Naples ... Every single time I've visited I saw wild dolphins and it was completely free and completely amazing. Thank you for reading. more

Finally, an education and fun place to take the family 10/11/2010

My family and I recently moved down to Miami a couple of months ago and we have been searching and searching for fun and educational things to do as a family. I saw some great and some not so great reviews on Miami Seaquarium, but I decided to give it a try because a friend told me that he takes his family there all the time and they have a great time. I am so happy that I listened to my friend and not some of the negative reviews that I have read. My family had a blast watching the live shows that they give with the whale and dolphins and other fun sea animals. We are very happy to have gotten the opportunity to head to the park and decided to get the year pass. The kids enjoyed the food and its a great value, especially with all the savings. more

Family trip to the Seaquarium, good time 9/10/2010

My mom, brother and I recently took a trip to the Miami Seaquarium and we had a very good time. We went to many of the shows and were very impressed on how fun and entertaining they were. All of the exhibits were done well and we will be going to the park again. more

What an amazing experience! 7/28/2010

My son and I had an amazing experience at the Miami Seaquarium. We are new to town, so we decided to visit this Seaquarium. We decided to swim with the dolphins, which is an amazing experience, a must do on eveyones list! We got the year passes and will be going again. Pros: The swim program, shows, discounts, year pass more

My Son and I love Miami Seaquarium 5/20/2010

I was very hesitant on going to Miami Seaquarium based on some of the previous reviews, but I decided to give it a shot and I am so happy that I did NOT listen to all those negative reviews. My son loved the shows and you should of seen his eyes open up when he saw Lolita do her tricks. I'm so glad that I took him because he learned a lot about whales and dolphins! I bought the year pass and cant wait to keep coming, maybe monthly... If you live in Miami or around the area you should buy the year pass too, its a steal! Pros: Everything was great! I especially Loved the shows. more

Great Family Experience 5/17/2010

My family and I visited the park for mothers day, my mother loved it. We saw Lolita's show and we were sure to sit far away, we didn't want to get wet! The trainers seemed to know what they were doing and they kept everyone entertained. The park is no seaworld, but I wouldn't expect any park to be as big as a Disney park. It was a great size for a Miami park and we had fun, were entertained, and learned some new info on marine animals :) Pros: Shows, animals, location, and people Cons: Nothing more

Dirty dirty dirty 4/12/2010

The facilities are run-down and scabby. They treat the creatures there like they are in the aquarium-version of Guantanamo Bay Prison. No sane person can un-see the filth and neglect that charterizes this hole. I was relieved to leave without illness or injury aside from protracted disgust. Pros: Water Cons: Barely clear enough to see into more

Miami Seaquarium 4/12/2010

My husband and I attended a convention in Key Biscayne. We won tickets to the Sequarium as a gag gift. We went with a group of adults, who were immediately appalled with it's dilapidated condition. There was mold on the windows, leakage everywhere, loose electrical cords, compromised stabilizers, and the stench of poorly cared for animals throughout our short visit. We were most concerned for the children who attended, and wondered what would become of them if a faulty stabilizer failed. It was deplorable and got worse when we viewed a whale, lovely creature, held stagnant in fish tank not as large as our hotel's pool. At first, I thought it was some kind of awful joke, but found out later that this lovely creature has been held there for approximately forty years. When I voiced my concern, the aquarium's employees became defensive and rude. This truly turned out to be a GAG gift, and I have hoped, ever since our visit, that this awful roadside zoo, will close down for the sake of it's patrons and those poor animals. Oh my, it is awful. How do they get away with that? Pros: Exit door Cons: Everything between arrival and departure more
