This guy came, did and strived to be the best. Had great products, great food, and great waiters. Unfortunately ... to survive you must go with the market to stay alive. Going ala carte was the worst thing you did. Sorry things went the way they did. Hope you have a rebirth in another location. P.S. next time... have more respect for your wife, your in-laws,and your employees and your success will be limitless! You can be a good guy , just be yourself. See you soon. It's a great Italian restaurant! They have wonderful steak and zip sauce for the gentleman, and great pasta and chicken dishes for the ladies (and men). Also, they have the best seasoned bread in town. The price is not bad, and the food tastes great. The only con is that they drag on dinner, but they are very nice waiters. I have never left a restaurant in my life until this one. The place is nice, but the owner/manager is complete slime. We started off with our salads, and it was good, but as i was finishing it I noticed a black tick, or some sort of insect crawling in my salad. I thought well maybe it flew into it, when I realized that it couldnt fly, I was disgusted and called over the waiter to take it back and explain that we would be leaving. So the manager comes over and takes a look and immediatly grabs the salad from the table, and comes back about two minutes later and claims that it wasnt a living thing at all but a piece of fryer junk. Needless to say that was one miraculous peice of junk in my salad to be walking around and stuff. Well I wouldnt put up with this sleezeball of an owner. you shouldnt either more

Highly impresed with this place.Great atmosphere,relaxing and very romantic.The food was incredible and the knowledge of the servers makes up for any indecisions you might have.The lounge ofers very sofisticated live entertainment and a very good selection of special drinks that could be hard to find elsewere. this is a old charm european restourant, profesional service unbetable food, why travel to europe when you can be at mezzaluna ristorante on sterling heights. if you want to experiance service and romantic ambiance with a charming piano playing in a dim atmosfere.its not that you'r just going to enjoy the evning but you'r date will compliment you. more

I was there last weekend with my wife on our anniversary, and we had a wonderfull experience, all i would say is that if you would like to have a tast of New York city dinning with out having to leave michigan, that is that place which i would love to visite again. more

Mezzaluna is by far one of the greatest places to eat in Detroit. The food is very tasty. The Serf and Terf is absolutely delighting along with the other Italian dishes they serve. I have had many private gatherings and parties at Mezzlauna the service was spectacular. The staff did a great job putting the events together. Everything was taken care of efficiently and in a orderly manner. The staff and food is what makes Mezzaluna my favorite place to eat. The bar is very convenient if you just want to kick back and have a drink, the live entertainment it good also. I highly recommend Mezzaluna for lunch, dinner, or just for fun, I guarantee you won't regret stopping in. Pros: Service & Food more

This place SUCKS!! I have never had such poor service before. No children's menu. So I ordered ""chicken tenders"" for my son. It was a piece of chicken breast cut up. The charge for the chicken tenders $8.00. My daughter ordered 1/2 order of cheese ravoli. The charge $10.00. Beverages were NOT included. A lemonade $2.50. NOT KID FRIENDLY!!!
