Consumer Beware of All RideNow!!! 7/10/2010

My experience is with Ridenow Motorsports in Goodyear and I my experience with them is also Horrible. They placed the wrong oil filter on my oil relocation kit which caused catastrophic engine failure. I even told them my oil relocation kit requires a proprietary oil filter, they told me they have done hundreds of oil changes and they knew what they were doing. After I picked up my bike, I noticed the new oil filter was approximately half the size and I pointed this out to them. They explained the oil change and oil filter was done properly. I figure they are the experts and knew what they were doing...think again. A few days later, during a trip to Vegas, approximately 75 miles from Kingman, my engine blew due to Ridenow placed the incorrect oil filter. I had to pay for the tow and car rental. I talked to service manager at Ridenow, after my explanation, he admitted to them putting on the wrong oil filter and they would pickup my bike at Kingman and will do the right thing by fixing my bike....think again. After my trip, they (Ridenow) wanted me to sign an affidavit releasing them of any and all liabilities whatsoever after they fix my bike. I explained to them, I shouldn't have to sign an affidavit for their negligence. They explained if I didn't sign they would not fix my bike or pay for the tow and car rental due to their negligence. SO BUYER BEWARE, I DON'T TRUST THESE UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, IMMORAL BUSINESS. Pros: none Cons: unethical, unprofessional, liars... more

Great Customer Service 7/6/2010

Metro started my experience by acknowleging me right away as I went into their store. I was in the market to buy my Polaris RZR. The selection was awesome and i loved that they had some custom RZR's to choose from. Pricing was better than anyone I had shopped and all promises wew kept. I have since used the parts & service departments customizing my RZR with some great advise from the metro staff. I highly recommend that you give this store a try for yourself. I assure you that you will be happy you did. william, Pros: Good pricing, Customer service AAA, Huge selection Cons: None more

Total Rip Off 7/6/2010

I took my two seadoos in to be serviced in May 2010. After spending $1700 total for both skis, I have more problems than what I went in with. Not to mention cosmetic damage that they will not take responsibility for. I took my skis back there hoping the new issues would be part of the 90-day warranty but of course they aren't. They offered to fix them for almost $600. I took my skis to another business who is charging me just over half of what MMS quoted me. Tony, the Service Manager is a slime ball. Seems nice and honest at first but I quickly learned things the hard way. I really wished that I would have read all of these horrible reviews before I took my skis there. They are even on ripoffreport. I could only find one positive review on them. Run... do not walk away from them...RUN! more

ripped off 5/28/2010

I recently purchased a Scorpio alarm system from Metro Motorsports. The sales person gave me a good deal and I felt that I would continue to purchase my products from them, as I have in the past. After reading the instructions I felt that the installation was simple and it said it would take less than an hour. However, I am not mechanically inclined and felt it would be easier to have Metro Motorsports do it. I was willing to pay a reasonable price. Service indicated it would take 3 hours. I informed them that the instructions indicated it would take less then an hour. Their reply, It would take 2 hours and they wanted to charge 20% above the cost of the actual product to install. I left annoyed. I made a few calls to motorcycle service shops in the area and found that I was able to have the job completed at 50% below the cost of the product and informed it would take an hour. I am pleased with the motorcycle I purchased at their business, pleased with the products and prices of their merchandise, But will never use their service department again. I will travel clear across town, if needed, to have my warranty services performed at a more consumer conscious authorized dealership. Consumer loyalty is earned. Pros: staff is available Cons: Customer Service lacks concern or desire to service more

Never Again 2/27/2010

Took my bike in 4 days ago for a battery check. They said they would do a diagnostic and tell me all that was wrong. Day 2, no call. Day 3, no call. Day 4, I called them 3 times. Each time I was told they were "looking at it now." It's 5pm. I just went and took the bike back. My son took the battery out for me and will change it himself. Hated to bother him, but will never go here again!!! Pros: Politely lazy Cons: Lazy more

My son took his bike in for a simple oil change and not only did they rip the odometer cable off, and the bike ran worse after the bike came back than when it went in. Plus it went back to them to fix all problems and nothing except the odometer cable was fixed. and talking to there reps. is a run around mess everything is your problem not theirs. Poor Business Ethics 7/29/2009

I just discovered this firm sold a $9,000 dirt bike to my Daughter-in-law who was unemployed and deep in debt at the time of purchase but wanted to buy this bike for my Son. She used poor judgement BUT there's no way she should have qualified for a loan! She's still unemployed, my son is unemployed, she's over $20,000 in debt, and the end result will be that Metrosports will be getting the bike back. Metrosports is partially to blame for this because they put a sale above their ability to pay. They didn't even check her employment , which was in California, or they would have discovered she was unemployed. How irresponsible is that??? Pros: None Cons: Put sale of bike over business ethics more

Poor Business Ethics 5/26/2009

I went to purchase a bike (first timer). They sold me a bike telling me I had to get their warranty service which cost about 500 dollars a year for 3 years. This service was supposedly a 6 major repairs 6 minor repairs service. That was not true I went to have them fix my bike that was damaged fairly bad and they said that the service does not work that way. They lie to you, they make you purchase items that I don't think you need or that you HAVE to take but they say you HAVE to take it. more
