To those who work the system and try to defraud their home warranty AND the HVAC contractor that comes out by getting FREE equipment installed for no money at all!!! You get exactly what you pay for! Stop whining and deal with it. I have to admit Metro Air is the best HVAC company we've had out since we got AHS. I read some horror stories but usually its from people who wanted to cheat the system and got caught or didnt get what they wanted, such as brand new equipment for nothing. The tech explained some of the bad comments we asked him about and we believed him. I normally don't comment online but I now understand a particular negative comment that seemed frivolous and I wanted to put in my two cents. Our systems were old and leaking freon, the tech came out, performed a leak test, found outside and inside units leaking, he called AHS, got new equipment approved and I had my new system installed the next day. No hang ups, no drama. We only paid $345 for non covered items on a system that would have cost over $2500. I have also purchased their annual service contract for my other system. We will only request Metro Air from now on. more

Great Service!!! – My air conditioner stopped working on the Friday of Labor Day weekend and I called AHS(my home warranty company) at 8 AM. I was contacted shortly by Troy to set up an appointment. Troy was very professional and polite. Jeff from Metro Air Services came out around 11AM and had my air back on very shortly. Jeff was very efficient at diagnosing the problem and very effective at fixing it !!! I'm cool again!!! YEAH!!! Overall, the customer service was GREAT!!! I will definitely request Metro Air Services when I run into a problem again!!! more

I rely on MetroAir to service our home. They are professional and sorted out a mess left by a Home Warranty contractor. Last week I lost AC, called 3 companies to service the unit, MetroAir came out first, diagnosed the issue, ordered parts and scheduled to come back to install the parts. I called other companies discussed MetroAir's diagnosis they couldn't get the parts any sooner or provide better pricing for the repair.\r \r Home Warranty's cause more issues than they resolve, they are HMO's for home maintenance and outsource to private contractors dictating part pricing, ordering, hourly rates, what can and can't be done to resolve issues. Most warranty policies put band-aides on appliances/systems when they should be replaced or upgraded. Ever wonder why a Home Warranty costs $400/yr and only charges $75/service call. more

Absolute terrible service. Took over a week to get my A/C working. Then they caused a major water leak. I had to have them come out two more times to fix the leak. They will not repair the damage from the water. I have to get my ceiling replaced. It takes hours/days to get a call back from their ""service"" department. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! more

complete incompetence of what they do. besides having the worst customer service, they not only did not fix the problem but also exacerbated it causing a water leak in the house. moreover, they pretended that problem was due to the installation and refused to fix it altogether. they are total fraud. do not use this company! more

Thank you for A/C tune up 3/24/2011

Thanks to Metro for the free 10 point A/C tune up through our AHS Home Warranty account. Roger was on time, professional, friendly and helpful as he checked everything out. I was wary he would try to upsell me on something, especially since it was a free AHS service, but he said everything looked good. I appreciate that. He added some refrigerant for us. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been if he had a spare filter to change out for our dirty one, but hey, you can't get better than good free service! more

Fast, Excellent Service 5/13/2010

My upstairs unit wasn't working so I called my warranty company AHS (American Home Shield). They assigned my repair service request to Metro Air Service in Loganville. They called me 1 hour later and set up an appointment for the next day. At first I was nervous because I couldnt find this company listed with the BBB. But they changed my opinion quickly. The next day the technician called me to let me know he was on his way and arrived when he said he would. He diagnosed my problem immediately and told me the motor went out on my unit. I had trouble shooted the problem and I honestly thought that was the problem and I knew I couldn't fix it myself. I called the next day to set up another appointment for him to come out to replace the motor and set up the appt for the next day. Again the tech came out and fixed the unit in a short amount of time and gave us suggestions about how to possibly prevent this from happening to the other unit. Everyone was very nice on the phone. The tech was honest, friendly, experienced and he came during the specified appointment time. I recommend this company to anyone even if you don't have AHS Warranty. Thanks Metro Air for getting my house cool again. CHEERS!! Pros: Friendly, honest, reliable Cons: I should have called sooner more
