Merry Maids

I did an internet inquiry to have them call me. They called me two days after I submitted the inquiry and left me a voicemail. I promptly called them back and got their voicemail. I left a message asking them to please call me I was interested in their services. No response. Two days later I called and got voicemail again. Left Message. No response. I called again the next day. No response or call back. After almost giving up, I called again. This time someone answered. She was semi rude during our conversation and told me there was no way Id get a walk thru till maybe the week after the holidays. She offered a same day walk thru at 5pm that evening. I reluctantly accepted a 5pm appointment with someone to assess my house. I explained I had training that day but would be there and was given the guys cell phone number in case I was running a few minutes late. I rushed home and left work early to make sure I was ready for the walk thru. 5:00 came an went and no one showed. By 5:30 I called and left message. No one called me to cancel or explain. I called and left another message telling them thank you and that I'd seek other services. Ridiculous. They wasted my time and effort. Get it together because bad mouthed advertising isn't good and I've all ready convinced others to look elsewhere. more

The maids were friendly, the work was immaculate, and i didn't have to do the horrible job of cleaning a place I was leaving behind. Took them less than two hours to do what would have taken me at least 4 or 5. Thanks Merry Maids! You rock! I would recommend highly! I have been using Merry Maids for years and love them. They do a great job of keeping my house clean. I can count on them being there when they say they will and know that the rooms I want clean will be done. They even made it out during the latest snow storm and made the extra effort to do a great job with the mess the weather made. I find the service well worth the price, I never was able to keep my house this clean on my own. Pros: Friendly cheerful staff, always willing to do the little extras. more

I have used Marry Maids to clean my house a few times when I just wanted a break from cleaning. They did a fantastic job every time exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this company. If you want to pay someone so you can clean your own house, this is the one to try. We have a medium sized house with a small family and we rarely invite people over, so we're pretty easy customers, just the basic dust and vacuum. We're pretty clean, but very busy, They have been out 4 times now, and each time, have left entire sections of the house unclean, un-vacuumed and un-wiped. They took out the garbage- all the way to the living room and LEFT IT THERE! I came home to dripping kitchen garbage on my carpet because they couldn't walk it another 10 feet into the garage. Oh, and they broke our bathroom faucet off. We had to call a plumber to fix the pipe in the wall that they bent. When I called the manager about it, he questioned my honesty. When I told him I still have the note they left explaining what they did, he stopped questioning. So now, our house is worse off than before Merry Maids. Cons: cleanliness, customer service more
