Mercury Moving And Storage Systems

Since 2004 I have used Mercury Moving and Storage 3 times. Each time I have had excellect service. The first time I used them I chose them blindly from their website because the information I needed was all there - it was straightforward and included pricing. No other companies did that at that time. I called expecting to leave a message because it was in the evening, and Gary answered and took care of all my questions and was very patient. I found out later that he and Jessica who I have spoken with throughout the other moves are the owners! They care TRULY CARE about what happens with your move. The movers themselves are outstanding. Every Mercury Moving and Storage person that I have spoken to or has done my moves has been professional, patient and excellent movers!!! BOOK THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE! They are outstanding! My last move (hopefully my very last move) was from Massachusetts to Florida. I had plans to use a PODS unit and had hired a PODS recommended mover who completely left me high and dry a week before my move. Completely distraught I emailed Mercury at 9PM on a weeknight. Within minutes I had a message from Jessica who came to the rescue immediately. I cannot say enough about this company and the caring people that own it and work there. I am so appreciative! more

Once again, Mercury Moving proved to be the best option. This time we were in a pickle- needed furniture moved outta our place to make room for a new piece due to arrive sooner than expected. They not only found a way to squeeze us in, they did so at a price that beat out the competition, and the movers took great care of our furniture (shrink wrapped and then tended to it like a newborn.) Jessica and Garry are all class, all the time, and their moving crews are as well. more

I have moved 3 times in the last 10 years and wanted to try a new moving company...so I took a chance on Mercury Movers. Santiago, Jose and Melvin were outstanding! They arrived on-time, were very polite and extremely careful with every single item! We walked around and did an initial inventory, I made a few comments about some items, and Santiago listened... :) What a treat! It was a long day but they made it sooo worry-free. I have never been so relaxed about a move before. I would be remiss if I did not also mention how prompt Jessica replied to my initial quote request...and how easy she was to work with via e-mail, even checking alternative move dates. Booking was a snap. She was awesome...sent an e-mail the night before just to confirm they were coming...and followed up to ensure I was happy. Jessica was excellent! I highly recommend using Mercury. I promised myself 10 years ago I would never move myself again...and companies like this, make keeping that promise easy! more

Mercury Moving was recommended to me for my recent move from Cambridge to Natick - it was the least stressful move I've ever had. Jessica, the owner, was very helpful and always available for any questions I had prior to the move. The moving guys were great - very fast and courteous. They took great care of my things and everything was moved without incident. They are not cheap, but I feel their price was reasonable and surprisingly less expensive than Gentle Giant. If you want great service at a competitive price, you should definitely consider Mercury Movers! more

These guys did an amazing job packing and moving me and my family. There is a husband and wife who own the business. They were both willing to speak with me anytime I called and were always helpful and knowledgeable. The movers were amazing too - I was so nervous about my glassware collection. Not one thing broke. I have had to move three times in the past 10 years and used Mercury for all three moves. I have also used them for storage. Each time, from the beginning, I was treated with respect and professionalism. They were upfront and timely with quotes and honest about costs. Mercury Moving moved did a two part move for me and my girlfriend and made it very easy on us both. They moved everything out of her place, moved half her stuff into my place, and the other half back to her parent's house. It was March 2010 and the water was rising in our basement in Bridgewater. I called local mover Mercury Moving in Avon to remove my brand new furniture before it was water logged. That day, 2 friendly, efficient movers gently removed my furniture. I ended up storing my things at Mercury until my basement was remodeled. Mercury truly save me money and helped me by storing my furniture. Mercury saved the day!!!!! more

Moving most of the contents of a house in which we've lived for nearly 40 years is stressful experience. The guys from Mercury Moving who helped us - Lenny, Melvin and Santiago - made the actual move almost pleasant. They were careful, thorough, and thoroughly pleasant (not even hesitating when we asked them to re-locate a couple of pieces of furniture that they'd already moved). They worked tirelessly. Buying and selling a home is considered one of the more stressful events a person/family can go through. I can say that using Mercury Moving ensures one part of the process will be flawless. I have personally used mercury moving on 3 separate occasions: 1) A move into a 3 story walk up (no elevator, tight corners) 2) A move from walk up into a storage facility 3) A move from storage facility into a home On every occasion the dealings with Mercury were pleasant, timely, professional, and always within the initial quote given. I would like to share one experience of my dealings with Mercury that I hope will make others realize the benefit of using them to handle your precious belongings. My family had a lot of items to be moved into storage for a period of time. It goes without saying that storing these items can cost some sizable fees with the determining factor being the size of the storage space being rented. I was concerned that the space I had gotten was going to be too big for my items (costing me a lot of extra money each month). I had one quick conversation with Jessica and Garry to get their professional opinion and I remember them saying that one of their employees on the move would be able to tell immediately the proper storage size I would need. Well the employee (Santiago) took one look at my belongings and a look at both size units available to me and told me to get the smaller unit and that it was going to be tight but it would fit. I was elated to hear this as once again this was $$$ being saved. The expertise of Santiago and his guys fit every piece of furniture and belongings I own into this facility like an intricate puzzle stacked with delicate care from floor to ceiling all the way up against the facility door! It fit like a glove. I obviously let Jessica and Garry know that I did not need to re-access my belongings in the unit. In dealing with service based organizations its the little things that consumers can notice that set the "special ones" apart. In the 5 years and 3 times I have used Mercury I had 2 of the same movers on my move. That simple observation of employee retention tells me (and should tell consumers) that you are dealing with a first class business that takes it's job very serious. It recognizes talent and obviously ensures that it's talent is maintained. Through all of that the benefit is passed through to the consumer. I'm sorry that this review is a bit long, but I have recommended Mercury to many family members, co-workers, and friends and always get the same positive comments back. I hope anyone reading this review and is on the fence about a moving company can now have their mind made up and check one thing off that stressful "to do" move list. I contacted the company by emailand filled out an estimate form online. From that point on communication was quick, friendly and professional. On the day of the move, the truck arrived promptly with 3 movers who worked quickly and efficiently and took great care wrapping and carrying furniture to ensure against damage. On the delivery end they were equally careful and made sure to put things where I needed them to be. After hearing stories from family and friends of poor moving experiences I felt very fortunate to have found Mercury Movers and would recommend them to anyone. We needed to move our 2-bedroom apartment including many heavy, older pieces of furniture to our new home, with a stop along the way to pick up some items in storage. Mercury was easy to get in touch with, cordial on the phone, helpful over emails, efficient and polite guys day of move, everything put exactly where we needed it to be without going over our 8-hour time.
