Good Price, Good Service 11/14/2011

I saw there were a couple of negative reviews, my experience was totally different. I needed a suit in a hurry and on a budget. The salesperson, although I was basically buying just one suit and working at the lowest price point they stocked, spent alot of time with me, helped me find something on the rack I liked, rushed the alterations, and answered my questions about shirts, accessories, etc. She certainly did some suggestive selling, but I have been in sales and that is her job. She was respectful when I said no and appreciative when I said yes to items, and we put together a package of items that I think I looked good in and could get without breaking the bank. I would shop here again and recommend the store to others. If you are a wallflower who expects a salesperson to be timid and only offer exactly what you ask for you might think they are coming on strong, but if you are a grown up who understands the customer is in charge is a good place to shop. more

Unbelievable 7/28/2011

Seriously, you might not even believe this. I got mad and then I reached a point where it is just unreal. \r \r My future husband chose to go to men's wearhouse because it was easy to get to. But honestly not worth our troubles.\r \r First off, after picking a suit, after paying and ordering for the suits, we got a call 2 weeks LATER saying they couldn't track them all down. After we were assured it would be easy which is why we chose the suit we did. Keep in mind we're less than a month away from our wedding at this point. \r \r Secondly, my fiance got a coupon in the mail the next day for the same exact suit regularly $499 for $200. Of course we want to use the coupon. He called, they told him he was wrong it was for a different suit that didn't apply. After reassuring the salespeople AND the manager there was no distinction on the coupon, they said we couldn't use it. My fiance tried it online and it worked, after calling back and forth at least 4 times now, telling them the promotion worked, they said they could ""try"" it but it looked doubtful. \r \r Having gone in the next day, they still acted like they couldn't do it. After ""humoring us"" they tried it and what do you know-it worked! They had an attitude about it, no apology, and we were trying to be really nice and gracious, but seriously, no acknowledgement you were wrong after talking to 3 different sales people?! And giving us the run around?\r \r Thirdly, after getting a different suit, we thought okay perhaps we can look over that. Turns out when they got the suits in, the groom's suit was the WRONG SIZE! \r \r Fourthly, you thought we would have learned our lesson by now... But my dad ordered his suit there, we had to put up with offensive statements by the salesman, but he had a $50 coupon he wanted to use..not worth it for how much we ended up spending on suits. Anywho, keep in mind my wedding is a week away, they misaltered my dad's suit (father of the bride) and there some how ended up with a spot on one of the suits. \r \r It is the worst thing that has ever happened to me in a retail store. I never write reviews, I went through the process of even signing up for something that will probably lead to more spam in my mailbox, but I don't care, I literally will NEVER set foot in a men's wearhouse again, or suggest it for anyone else I know.\r \r Save Yourself! Go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else. more

Horrible 7/2/2011

After learning about a sale at Men's Wearhouse and finding several suits within our price range on the website, my husband and I decided to check out the store to see if we could get a couple of suits for his new job. We started browsing and found several suits in our price range on the racks. Then we were approached by the sales woman...... She measured him and told us that the cheapest suit we would be able to find there was double our price range because he had unusually ""wide shoulders"". We declined and told her we would keep looking around. She continued on to say that we would never be able to find him a suit anywhere else because of his shoulders and then tried to talk us into a cheaper sport coat (we didn't come for a sport coat). She started to get very rude and we were totally unimpressed by her pushy sales tactics, so we left. We ended up finding two suits that fit him PERFECTLY at a local outlet store and only needed very minimal tailoring. Total price for the tailoring and two suits was cheaper than what we were quoted at the Men's Wearhouse for ONE suit. more
