Still would use but not for long distance.

The highest of marks for the movers, the staff at the facility seemed untrained. 6/22/2015

The moving men,Cleef and Brian, were extremely courtesous, professional and efficient. I believe they were more than 1 hour UNDER schedule. They were very familiar with the paperwork and explained everything in a clear manner. The people at the facility told me they would show me how to access the locker. they never did. The moving men did. They rushed to get the paperwork signed given that I was the only client there, they could have been a little les frenetic in their jobs. Also, I was disturbed that the moving men were told they could not use the restrooms and must use the Porta-potties outdoors. The fact that the moving men were black, and the facility workers white, made me very skeptical and upset. The moving men reflect your company in the best way. more

Arrived early, introduced all members of moving staff. Very friendly, answered and were willing to help with all last minute situations. They went to two locations, storage location and new residence. No problems anywhere. All charges and fees in line with estimate. more

Men on the Move - They're not kidding!! Amazing! 6/8/2015

I had just moved into an apartment and sadly it was uninhabitable. The landlord terminated the lease and I needed to move out in two days. I called and spoke to Lorraine and was immediately taken care of and they were able to help. They were on time, courteous, and worked speedy fast while taking great care of our furniture. The moving van met me at the storage facility and unpacked my furniture and belongings with great care. The movers were amazing. I will definitely use them again. It was a remarkable experience considering my circumstances. Thank you so much!! more

They showed up at the time scheduled. The crew were ready to start packing things up and came very well prepared. I expected that it was going to take most of the day to pack everything for the move. They were done with the packing sooner then I expected. They brought everything to the new location and put everything where we wanted everything to be even moving some things around because we weren't certain. They also put whatever we were throwing out at the curb for garbage pickup and took all used packing materials with them. You really want to use Men on the Move. I have already recommended them to a friend. more

On time, careful, excellent communications, etc. - the move could have gone smoother and the movers were professional, courteous and respectful of the situation (they were moving out the furniture of a recently deceased family member). I would not hesitate to recommend Men on the Move to my friends and family. more

Positive Experience 6/2/2015

Overall we had a very positive experience using Men On the Move. The movers were very organized, honest and friendly throughout the whole move. They moved all our furniture to their storage unit in Garden City which is a brand new facility with great rates. The best part was there were no hidden fees. The price I was quoted is what I paid. Will definitely use them to move the furniture out of the storage facility once we close on our new house. more

Not so good 5/23/2015

I don't understand why this company is highly rated. The movers sent two Guys who were not reassuring. They did Not bring boxes for the lamps that I told the company were coming. We had to take them ourselves. They couldn't figure out how to get the sofa in the elevator until my husband helped. They broke off a piece of a frame, scratched the floor and got lost on the way to our home. Not good. Would not use this company again. more

Caring and Professional 5/22/2015

I have used MOM four times now. I move furniture for staging homes for sale often. The crews I've had were very respectful of my things and very helpful in getting them into my storage facility. I think of them as MY moving men. I find my jobs always fit into their minimum 4 hour price range and the men work efficiently so as not to add time into my bill. I always ask for Dominque (he's very experienced) and he keeps an eye out on all crew members. (If you're lucky, you'll get to hear him sing. He has a great voice.) more

Very Satisfied Move 5/18/2015

I used MOTM to have furniture moved into a pod and also some furniture and bigger items thrown in a dumpster. They were prompt, curteous and careful. I plan on using them again after our house renovations are done to move everything back in. more

Made our move easy! 5/18/2015

My husband and I used Men on the Move a few weeks ago when we moved from Bayside to Floral Park. We had a great experience with Men on the Move and we would recommend them to anyone in need of movers. The 2 guys that helped us move were extremely efficient, very friendly, patient and helpful. In terms of price, the estimate that they gave us was exactly what they charged, even though they went a bit over the estimated time - this was a very pleasant surprise! Again Men on the Move comes highly recommended. more

the admin support was responsive and friendly the movers got here early and moved everything where it needed to go. Also put things together as requested. quote was within $25 of actual cost more
