To my customers,\r \r I apologize for the review below. This individual came in for a ""quick"" vehicle inspection and gave us 10 minutes to perform what we usually take 30-45 minutes to do. We didn't charge him for the inspection that usually costs $25 because he was in a hurry and we tried to accommodate him and his time table. My employee did talk to the seller but the conversation was limited to if the purchaser decided to not buy the vehicle he may have someone that might be. My employee had just purchased a vehicle within several weeks of this incident and was not looking to purchase a car for himself. My employee informed me of what was said during his conversation with the seller and he told me that the price of the vehicle was never discussed and he never made an offer to purchase the vehicle. Our employee has not heard from the seller since that day and has made no attempt to contact him since. Matt even discussed the conversation with Rob after it happened and Rob told him the contents of the conversation and didn't try to hide anything.\r \r Matt came into my shop to confront my staff about the incident and I assured him that Rob would never try to steel a car out from under him. I also informed my employee that if what Matt said was true, he would be fired if he purchased the vehicle. Matt was combative, disrespectful, and accusatory without any evidence that a wrongdoing had been committed. As far as my conduct during the incident, I never raised my voice, I tried to keep the discussion on a mature and productive plane, and I was the one who suggested we go inside so I could confront my employee, with him present, about the incident and let him know that if it turns out to be true, he would be fired. \r \r I'm sorry if Matt's purchase fell through, but when the only evidence you have against a person is assumptions and unsubstantiated accusations, then I have to give the benefit of the doubt to the accused. I wish Matt and his family the best and have no hard feelings over the incident.\r \r Bob Boucher\r Meineke Car Care Center\r Idaho Falls more

Do NOT go here if you are planning on buying a new car and want to do a new car inspection( or for any other reason since their integrity is obviously compromised). LOOOng story short, the seller and I were about to drive to the bank when the mechanic named Rob or Roberto stopped the seller and talked to him for 5 minutes as I waited to pull out of the parking lot in my car. When they were done I asked Rob what he was talking about and if something was wrong with the car. He replied that he told him if we weren't going to buy the car that he was interested and that they had exchanged numbers. I thought this out of place and kind of rude seeing as we were going to the bank...and it was hard to believe that that was all that was said in 5 minutes of conversation. \r \r Driving to the bank, the seller turned off some back road and was never seen agin. We went back the meineke and despite him not answering my numerous phone calls, we had Roberto call and magically Louis answered ""oh hey man!"" Roberto then handed the phone to me and Louis started to stammer and said ""oh! hey man! I'm lost!"" he agreed to find his way back to meineke, but we never saw him again. Funny that he answered Rob but not my phone calls...\r \r The owner could not have a normal conversation with me. I remained calm but he just insisted on yelling. Every sentence would end in an ear piercing shriek of first grade grammar and logic. \r \r Roberto asked him how much we were paying and offered him more. Despite what he and his overly protective and verbally incompetent boss say. They swooped in and aced us out of our new car that we needed so badly. more
