Review content:
To my customers,\r \r I apologize for the review below. This individual came in for a ""quick"" vehicle inspection and gave us 10 minutes to perform what we usually take 30-45 minutes to do. We didn't charge him for the inspection that usually costs $25 because he was in a hurry and we tried to accommodate him and his time table. My employee did talk to the seller but the conversation was limited to if the purchaser decided to not buy the vehicle he may have someone that might be. My employee had just purchased a vehicle within several weeks of this incident and was not looking to purchase a car for himself. My employee informed me of what was said during his conversation with the seller and he told me that the price of the vehicle was never discussed and he never made an offer to purchase the vehicle. Our employee has not heard from the seller since that day and has made no attempt to contact him since. Matt even discussed the conversation with Rob after it happened and Rob told him the contents of the conversation and didn't try to hide anything.\r \r Matt came into my shop to confront my staff about the incident and I assured him that Rob would never try to steel a car out from under him. I also informed my employee that if what Matt said was true, he would be fired if he purchased the vehicle. Matt was combative, disrespectful, and accusatory without any evidence that a wrongdoing had been committed. As far as my conduct during the incident, I never raised my voice, I tried to keep the discussion on a mature and productive plane, and I was the one who suggested we go inside so I could confront my employee, with him present, about the incident and let him know that if it turns out to be true, he would be fired. \r \r I'm sorry if Matt's purchase fell through, but when the only evidence you have against a person is assumptions and unsubstantiated accusations, then I have to give the benefit of the doubt to the accused. I wish Matt and his family the best and have no hard feelings over the incident.\r \r Bob Boucher\r Meineke Car Care Center\r Idaho Falls
