I travel a lot for work and just don’t have the time to go to the gym as much as I used to. I hit the gyms in hotels sometimes and I still go jogging, but it’s not the same. I was still eating over 3,000 calories a day, which I could get away with when I was younger and workingout 3 hours a day. As soon as I quit hitting the gym five days a week, I started putting on weight. I knew I needed to cut back on calories to compensate for the time I was missing at the gym, but I just couldn’t do it. I tried a few different things but nothing worked. I was kind of joking with a client in Scottsdale, AZ, about how I’d been packing on the pounds since I started traveling, and he told me about the Medi-weightloss center he’d been going to out there. So, when I got back home I looked to see if there was one here in Winter Park. I found this one and have been going ever since. I haven’t lost all the weight that I want to yet, but I’m well on my way. The nutrition and exercise counseling is what has helped me the most. Just having someone there that is talking to you as an individual, about your body and your habits, makes a big difference than all those cookiecutter diet schemes out there.
