I was very well satisfied with the service that I received from the people over at McKay's Heating & Cooling. They were prompt to both answer my call as well as to get someone out to my home to provide service. The guy that came fixed everything and he really did not take very long to do so which I really appreciated. I am just very satisfied and I would definitely use them again! more

We would definitely recommend McKay's Heating & Cooling. Every time that we have called them, they came out the same day and they got what we needed for them to fix right away. We have been using them for a while, for years and their customer service and their prices have always been cheaper than the price of the companies close by. After an annual service visit, we had a need for additional service. I had not difficulty knowing not only to call McKay's, but to ask for the same guys specifically. Really stood out. Fantastic guys who went above and beyond. more

If I could, I would give McKay's Heating & Cooling 6 stars out of 5! I had them come out to double check the furnace in my house. The furnace was installed by a different company and I had nothing but problems with them over and over and over again. So I thought I'd give someone else a try, and I had seen McKay's advertising up around Augusta, and I have to say I'm really glad I went with them! At the time when they came out to do the work I was working 12 hour days and needed to have my father (who lives 45 minutes away) come out to my place to be there for them. Unfortunately there was a bit up a hiccup around timing and I was really worried my father would be inconvenienced. I called to try and work it out and I'm not sure who answered the phone there but they just flipped some schedules around and had someone out at the house in about 40 minutes! I was thoroughly impressed. The price for value was well worth it. They signed me up for "gold program" and it was awesome. I went ahead and got rid of it eventually, but I have to say that being able to just make a phone call and have my issue sent to the top of their priority list is really worth it. At one point they had to come back to install a safety switch for the furnace. It took about a week but true to their word I got a text Monday morning from a technician saying "I'm headed your way!" and they had the switch installed in a jif. I really think there is nothing they need to improve. They took care of what they needed to take care of. My father who oversaw the work is a grumpy ex-military guy, and even HE said they really know their stuff. Whatever you are doing, McKay, keep it up because you are doing a good job! more

We called them to finish installing a thermostat that my husband gave up on. They were quick, friendly, and professional. When we had to call back two days later, the same thing. I highly recommend them!!! more

We called up McKay's Heating & Cooling back in June because we were having some trouble with our air conditioner. They came and looked at it and they were able to fix the problem right away. We were very impressed with how quick they took care of the problem. Their customer service person was very nice and told us about a maintenance program we could sign up for to have them come out regularly to inspect our AC and furnace. We signed up for it and they came out again for a routine service call. I didn't have to call them, they called me. They are just phenomenal. They are friendly and professional. They do their job well and they do it quickly. We are very pleased with their services. We are trying to sell our house and the inspector wanted the furnace looked at so we had McKay's come out. They said it needed to be replaced. Well, I wasn't in town at the time but I totally trusted them to replace the unit and gave them the go ahead. They had everything done by the time I returned. And, of course, they did a fantastic job. Their quotes have always been spot on, no unwanted surprises. I can't say enough good things about McKay's Heating & Cooling. I recommend them to everyone. more

McKay's Heating & Cooling are really good because they come when you need them to and they take care of you. They really do every that they are supposed to do and they clean up after themselves, they don't cause any problems, they just solve problems. They are really good. I jut want to make sure that they get an A+ more

Most recently McKay's Heating & Cooling put freeon in my cooling unit; and last year I brought a central heat and air unit. Prices are fair. I appreciate how fairly quick they're able to take care of me. more

I'm extremely happy because McKay's Heating & Cooling was quick and effective in responding to my needs. My AC seized up/burned out and they came out. They didn't have to run around looking for parts because they had what they needed with them to complete the job. They had me up and running, and the house started to cool off in less than an hour from the time they had arrived. more

I have been a customer of McKay's Heating & Cooling since the company started and I am very pleased with them. They have always treated me very well; the installers I have met have been super friendly and I like the fact that they are a family business. They are happy to work when they are on the job and they act professionally also. Their prices are fair, not super cheap but you get what you pay for with McKay's, a top quality service! more

I use McKay's Heating & Cooling because my homeowners insurance has them contracted to cater to the heating and cooling in my house. My experience with them has been mediocre; they had to come out to my home four times to fix the same problem. They did not bring the right parts the first time and then there was a related issue with parts for the furnace. Even after these parts had been acquired the system was not running at 100% efficiency This was frustrating as I expected the problem to be fixed right away, not three or four weeks later. There is a heatwave in Kansas at the moment and a lot of people's AC units are breaking, but I still expected better quality workmanship from McKay's. I sincerely apologize for your wait in getting your cooling back to operational. American Home Shield does not let us provide the parts you were needing to fix your air conditioner. This creates a very extended wait time for us and yourself in getting what we need to complete the task. You are not the only client who has suffered through this heat wave for days on end because of American Home Shield creating a delay for parts or equipment. We could not anticipate or further diagnose any other issues without first replacing your compressor. Once the compressor was operational again we found more issues with your system. It's possible that these pre-existing issues caused the compressor to fail in the first place. Since you had multiple problems that required multiple parts this created multiple trips to get the system functioning properly. Customer service is our top priority and we are sincerely sorry that you don't feel like your situation was handled in a timely manner. I assure you if the third party was removed from the equation that you would be 100% satisfied. Thank you so much and I hope you will consider our services when needed in the future.
