I use McKay's Heating & Cooling because my homeowners insurance has them contracted to cater to the heating and cooling in my house. My experience with them has been mediocre; they had to come out to my home four times to fix the same problem. They did not bring the right parts the first time and then there was a related issue with parts for the furnace. Even after these parts had been acquired the system was not running at 100% efficiency This was frustrating as I expected the problem to be fixed right away, not three or four weeks later. There is a heatwave in Kansas at the moment and a lot of people's AC units are breaking, but I still expected better quality workmanship from McKay's.

Thank you so much for writing a review. It means a lot to us when a client takes time out of their busy schedule to do this for us. I sincerely apologize for your wait in getting your cooling back to operational. American Home Shield does not let us provide the parts you were needing to fix your air conditioner. This creates a very extended wait time for us and yourself in getting what we need to complete the task. You are not the only client who has suffered through this heat wave for days on end because of American Home Shield creating a delay for parts or equipment. We could not anticipate or further diagnose any other issues without first replacing your compressor. Once the compressor was operational again we found more issues with your system. It's possible that these pre-existing issues caused the compressor to fail in the first place. Since you had multiple problems that required multiple parts this created multiple trips to get the system functioning properly. Customer service is our top priority and we are sincerely sorry that you don't feel like your situation was handled in a timely manner. I assure you if the third party was removed from the equation that you would be 100% satisfied. Thank you so much and I hope you will consider our services when needed in the future.
