I went again to this place. The experience is just great, not only good food, good prices, but also good music and on Fridays there is a dancer who goes by the tables.\r The grilled Octopus was fantastic, the Hummus was phenomenal... Overall it is a great experience worth in every aspect. Definitely will recommend. more

This neighborhood restaurant in a suburban shopping center was a busy place when we visited on a Saturday night. It apparently enjoys a loyal local following. Food was mostly good and the service was efficient and very friendly. The dud of the night for us was the grilled octopus, which was soggy and not to our liking. The Hummus, stuffed grape leaves and the lamb shops were pretty good. The gyro was good, but not as good as we've tasted at other restaurants. Overall, it was a good dining experience and we'll return and recommend. more

This restaurant is excellent; the food is great, very tasty, and clean. The value ratio food/price is very good also.\r Definitely A+ more

Customer service sucks! My wife and I sat in the place for 20 minutes before anyone said anything. We left and have NEVER gone back! more

I come from Queens, NY! so I grew up eating Greek Cuisine all my life. And to find this place brings back memories. The food is absolutely to die for! We had the Tabouleh for an appetizer and the Kafta and beef Shwarma. Let's just say we didn't have to ask for to go bags. :)) \r \r The ambiance was really inviting. Loved, loved the private area located on the left hand side of the restaurant and definitely will look into booking it for a business party. I would give the service a 4star because There was this one time that made me cringe, one day,  not clear if he was a manager (being that he wasn't in the same uniform as the rest of the waiters) he seemed very upset at one of the waiters and screamed at him in front of the guests. To me, that is not professional at all. To disrespect your staff in front of guests only shows how you handle your establishment. The reason I give this place 5 stars now is because we went back this past sat and the hostess was by far very welcoming. I've been to many restaurants and she creates an atmosphere of joy and excitement. If I had a restaurant I would seriously want her on my Team bc the moment you enter she makes you feel like your home. I definitely will be back as long as she's around. more

We stopped here for a late dinner after my niece's graduation - we were asked if we wanted to see the belly dancing - sure bring it on - the grand room is beautiful with an open kitchen bar - except it was very cold in the room and the music was a little too loud. The belly dancing was beautiful. Totally enjoyed her change of outfits and her dancing with a sword and how she engaged the little girls to dance with her.\r \r We ordered all appetizers (our most favorite way to try a restaurant) - the Fattoush salad was perfectly seasoned and delightful. The Grilled Octopus (no head and precut - felt a little too cooked), we had Shrimp Saganaki (shrimp was small and feta was around the plate but not cooked on top of the shrimp), Tzatziki (this is a Lebanese restaurant so this is a small side dish instead of an appetizer), Spanakopita (yummy and filling) and a side of grilled vegetables (the two pieces of zuchinni and spinach were well cooked and flavorful). The pita chips were crispy and were accompanied by a garlicky feta spread.\r \r It was very nice that the owner, Faris, came to the table and welcomed us to his restaurant.\r \r We also had dessert, baklava - three different types of greek/lebanese pastries - my favorite was the long round one - very flavorful and full of pistachios.\r \r Disappointed with our mint tea which would have made dessert go down smoother - \r \r I would give this a 3 out of 5 - loved the Fattoush and the long finger dessert - everything else could be improved taste and flavorwise more

I visited Maaza restaurant with my family on 05-04-2012. We got a table around 8:10 and the food arrived on table around 9:25. It was a long wait and kids were very hungry. I had to request the waiter to serve food for kids at least. Kids menu had two sides and they served only one and did not ask for the preference. I mentioned this to the other senior waiter who later came and he just apologized and left the scene without even providing the second side. Our waiter did not have the courtesy to ask us about refilling the water(we had to wait for refill of water almost 15-20 minutes). It was a horrible experience. Food quality was OK and music was good. I really like the ambiance of the restaurant. We feel very bad such a good food did not have a good environment. I would not visit this restaurant again or recommend anyone to this restaurant. If I am spending a decent amount on a dinner more

After eating at Mazza's, I would rate it a 3 out of 5 for food quality, 4 out of 5 for service, and 3 out of 5 for atmosphere. To be fair, we did eat there around 5:00 p.m. so it's a little harder to rate the atmosphere and service than when the place is really jumpin'. As for the food, it wasn't really bad, but it really wasn't good either. It lacked the richness of flavor and texture that really good greek restuarants provide. The gyros meat was rubbery and lacked flavor. The humus was just okay. As we walked out, my wife said "well thats another one we can scratch off the list". I fully agree. I still have to proclaim Mezes king of the Pines for greek cusine. more

Great appetizer was recommended by our server and had all of the mediterranean classics on it. Lamb sharma was awesome with top shelf tabbouleh and fries. Best baklava ever! All around great experience for a date or family. Love the belly dancing at night. Go there! more

We have been to Mazza twice on the weekend and had a great time both times. It's quieter and less cramped than Taverna Opa and Greek Islands out east and cheaper too. They had a belly dancer at night that dances with props as well as with customers (if they like). The humus, greek salad, and kabobs are all winners. Will definiitely return for more! more

My family lives quite close to Mazza and we have been going since it opened. Having previously lived in Kuwait, this is the closest we've gotten to the authentic flavors of Arab cuisine. Delicious, delicious, delicious! And Faris, the owner, is not shy about mingling with his patrons, sharing a drink and a story. Excellent food, good service and reasonable prices for what you get. If you want a table right away, go early - even on Saturday. We've never had much of a wait as long as we got there before 7. The belly dancing is fun, too, and adds to the ambiance. more

My husband and I visited Mazza on a Friday evening. The restaurant is cute and convenient to get to and park. For the most part, the food was pretty good. We ordered the three-dip sampler, which was good. I had the shawarma combo, which I thought was tasty. The gyro was so-so, but the chicken shawarma was flavorful and moist. I swapped the hummus side with tabule salad, which was pretty good. My husband ordered the moussaka, which he ALWAYS orders in Greek restaurants. Not the best we've had. It was also microwaved (flaming hot on the outside, but still cold on the inside) - which we did not appreciate.\r \r I should mention that our server was not attentive to us. He failed to bring us requested items and we would have to ask other servers for them. Also, he told us that they did not have American coffee, but found out from another server that they did, it just needed to be brewed. Although our experience was not terrible, there are too many other Greek restaurants in the area to try Mazza again. more

This restaurant cannot get it together when it comes to take-out. I have ordered from them a total of five times over the past year and two out of the five times my order is either missing an item or the food is cooked poorly or both. This was the third time my order was wrong.\r \r This third and last time I ordered, and believe me it is the LAST time I order from them, the calamari was poorly battered, overly fried (to the point it was almost black in color), rubbery, thrown in the container and to top it off, swimming in a puddle of olive oil. Sloppy and inedible are kind words for the mess this place served me. I just took the container and threw it in the garbage. \r \r Moving on to the the entrees (a chicken kabob platter and shrimp kabob platter). These appeared a little more presentable except all the vegetables were burnt. Now this little bump in the road could have easily been overlooked except the rice, hummus and proteins were all over the place in the container and of course there were no sauces for either entree. The pita bread was old so it joined the calamari and vegetables already in the garbage. Luckily I had some of my own pita bread at home.\r \r I've called and spoken to the manager/owner the first two times and it's always the same, he apologizes and says he'll take care of it. Yeah, I see how he takes care of it. He does NOTHING. \r \r Personally, I will not eat from this place ever again. Three strikes and you're out! Let them serve the slop they chose to serve me and my family to their families. They won't get one more dime from me. Shameful! more
