My friend and I recently purchased a Groupon deal for a haircut, massage, and pedicure. The staff was friendly while I received these services, but they had called and cancelled my pedicure twice prior to getting me in. I was up front telling staff that I had a Zumba class to teach 4.5 hours after my pedicure was scheduled, as was assured that I could put my feet in socks and shoes at that time and they would be fine. Four of my toenails got messed up. I left a message that evening requesting to have them fixed, and did not hear back. I also called and spoke w/ staff 2 days later, who said she would have the supervisor get back to me after her appt, and still did not hear back. I was also charged $5 more for my gel manicure than the price I was quoted, which was also the price on the list of services. It's unfortunate that I had to go to trade secret and spend $9 additional to purchase naill polish that matched so I could touch up my own toes. I also tipped very well, as I know places don't make much off Groupons. I was considering becoming a regular customer, but after seeing that they are unwilling to return phone calls, I will definitely not be back, and would not recommend this salon to friends.
