I always receive excellent service at MaxManni. From the minute I walk in the door until the time I leave I am always well taken care of. The environment is relaxing and staff is exceptional. Then there is the Aveda products - I wouldn't use anything else but Aveda it's the best! more

Not only do I return because of my wonderfully skilled and attentive stylist Abby, but for the all around personal touch you receive from the entire staff. The salon is clean, attractive, calming and efficient. The front desk immediately invites you to feel at home and offers you a beverage upon entering. On a past visit, I had recently endured a medical procedure and when I began to feel unwell, almost every staff member noticed and became attentive to my comfort and need. I exit feeling pampered, beautiful and cared for. more

Since I have moved away from Pittsburgh I have been to many salons. I was glad to come back to Max Manni and receive excellent service once again. So much so that I may plan my next trip back when it's time to update the highlights again. Can't wait for my next trip. more

Time and communication warp 10/28/2011

There is a communication problem between the employees and the reality of the actual schedule of the stylists, etc. TWO different times there was. Problem with what I was told over the phone and what actually occurred with my appointments. The first time I was told a logical sequence of my appointments but when I called the same day as my appointments I was told my hair would be done before a massage??? Of course that is unacceptable. Then I when I had to return on another day I was told I could come in 15 minutes early when I called only to be left sitting for 35 minutes. I guess their time is the only thing that is important. Well I won't be returning here. It's a shame, because the Aveda products are great. The employees were nice just caught in a time and communication warp. more

the service was great but 10/28/2011

I love when Lori cuts my hair. it is always a wonderful experience. Especially this time. I loved the scent of the shampoo she used. The only thing I didn't enjoy this time was that the waiting area is right next to the area where the hair styling is done. there was a stylist speaking so load about her new tattoo, that I did not feel it made for a relaxing wait. I felt I was sharing in the conversation. Just like if some one is speaking too load on a cell phone. The seating in the waiting area is a bit tight to get in and out if others are sitting in the area. I felt I was disturbing others as I got in and out. Other than that I have always had good experiences at the salon. more

My stylist and colorist is Abby. She is amazing! She does a fantastic job with my hair everytime, she always listens to me and helps to guide me to good decisions with my hair and style. The salon is well run and maintained. It's always clean, it's inviting, and they do a great job with scheduling so that clients aren't kept waiting, even on busy Saturdays. more

My first experience at MaxMannie was amazing! I had a Groupon given to me as a Birthday gift from my mother. 10/3/2011

My first experience was getting my hair cut and a pedicure. My hair cut was just what I was looking for! I had been to two other salons prior and asked for the same thing both times, and the results were not at all what I had asked for. When I got my hair cut at MaxMannie (by Alyssa) She did Exactly what I had been asking for the other times!She was Great! Then, before my Pedicure, they easily fit me in for a nail polish with no appointment - which was greatly appreciated.(Thank you Anita) Then came my Pedicure...of all the pedicures I've ever had, theirs was The BEST!!!This was done by Nikole. She is GREAT! I will be getting my hair cuts and Mani/Pedis at MaxManni from now on. Finally, I had my 60 minute Swedish massage by Chase. This was my first professional massage ever, and I have been missing out Big Time! He was WONDERFUL! If you want a great, peaceful, relaxing and close to heavanly experience-Get a massage at MaxManni! more
