5 star service 3/7/2014

I had never used these guys before, being new to the NYC area. I called them up about my pizza oven in my new restaurant which kept going hot and cold. Tom was on time, explained to me perfectly just what was happening to cause the oven to keep cutting out, and went about fixing it straight away. Less than an hour later my oven was fixed. 5 stars! more

Excellent customer service 1/9/2014

When I phoned Maximum Appliance Repair, I was dreading the response when I explained that I would only be able to wait at home for two hours in the mornings for my service call. The lady doubled checked with Tom, and then fitted me into a two hour slot for the very next day. Now that’s what I call excellent customer service! more

I used Maximum Appliance repair for the first time last week and I can say I was suitably impressed. They were quick, efficient, and mended my washer on the spot. Awesome! more

I thought the fridge was dead 11/28/2013

I really did! I was completely prepared to buy a new one. My friend had used Tom in the past though and suggested that I get in touch. She said that he would most likely be able to fix it for me. Guess what? He fixed it! He saved me a lot of money on having to purchase a new appliance too! more

First class for washer repairs 11/13/2013

When I came home to find soap suds and water all over my kitchen floor I knew something was wrong. One call to Maximum Appliance repair however was all it took to get the problem sorted. I am so used to having to chase up workmen who never turn up, but Tom came to my home the very same day. Perfect! more

Maximum Appliance repairs; an A class service serving NYC 11/10/2013

Living in NYC I have always used Maximum Appliance repairs when my fridge or cooker has stopped working. Tom leads the team of local experts, and with the help of his lovely receptionist he has kept me smiling many a time. No job is too big or too small for Tom, and what’s more he is always friendly and smiling. Cannot fault.. more

Appliance Repairs are something they do very well 11/1/2013

I have had to call them out six times for various appliances around the properties that I own. They have always got the job spot on. Therefore I am more than happy to recommend them to the people that are reading this reviews page! more

Ideal for first time homeowners 10/8/2013

If you have been living in rented accommodation for a while then you will probably be a little bit spoiled about the fact that your landlord will come and repair anything for you pretty quickly. We took the plunge and purchased a new home. Of course, being as this was a pretty hefty expense we needed to opt for second-hand appliances. Saved some money, but boy they had some problems. Tom made everything as simple as possible for us. He repaired everything quickly without blitzing us with a ton of terms that we wouldn’t have understood. The price was fairly reasonable too! more

Ah, so I didn’t need to throw away the freezer 9/29/2013

My freezer stopped freezing the other day. As you do, I went back to the place I bought it. They claimed that the freezer could not be saved and I needed to buy a new one. As you can probably guess, they were trying to make a quick sale. I was having none of it. I got in touch with a couple of appliance repair guys. These were the ones that impressed the most with their attitude. A couple of hundred dollars later and I have a working freezer again! more

Couldn’t be more pleased with the service 9/11/2013

I didn’t need much doing. Basically the seal on my fridge broke. Easy replacement at an affordable price. Can’t really fault them to be honest. more

Seriously saved my life! Well….at least my dinner party. My gas oven was lighting and I didn’t have much time before I needed to cook. Thankfully one of their guys (Tom by the looks of other reviews on here?) came and fixed it within a couple of hours! more

Turned up on time! Who else does that? 8/13/2013

I lead an incredibly busy lifestyle, which meant I couldn’t really spend the whole day waiting for somebody to come and fix my fridge. I was incredibly surprised when these guys turned up at the exact time that they said they would. They even fixed it within the hour leaving me to do whatever I wanted for the rest of the day! more
