Very pleased with the customer service 3/28/2011

10 years after buying my custom (special order) leather Lazy Boy recliners, I called Mathis Brothers because the reclining mechanism was broken on one of them. Lazy Boy chairs have lifetime repair for free of mechanical parts! Soooooooo, Mathis Brothers said that I could bring it to the store and they would fix it for free, or pay a small price for pick-up/delivery of the chair from my house. I opted the pick-up and delivery. Never had any problems with them on this, they were very very helpful. I wasn't forced to come up with receipts or dates of purchase or anything like that. It was just an easy done deal.So, while I am frustrated at times with the salespeople in the store and the hassle of shopping there, I am very pleased with the customer service 10 years later. I will buy from them again. more

They have the best deals 3/24/2011

I really, really love Mathis Brothers. I have found some of the absolute best buys here. In 2000, I purchased a beautiful hand painted mahogany armour. It was a furniture show sample (one of a kind). I paid $1999 when it would have retailed for well over $9000. Any time I am in Tulsa, I stop by to browse their one of a kind and sample items from Ralph Lauren, Henredon, Baker, etc. You can find some of the best deals, high end furniture at Rooms 2 Go pricing. more

Excellent Online Service 3/22/2011

Tim in Internet Sales took pictures of the chair I was thinking about buying but wanted better details. He helped me to finalize what I wanted. The 2 gentlemen who delivered my furniture were here during the time window they gave me. So polite ? so nice. This is not the first time I have bought from Mathis Brothers. I (and my family) will drive to OKC every time we need any major furniture pieces. This is the first time I have bought online. But, as usual, I am very happy with my furniture and my service. more

Mathis brothers has always done a fine job 3/22/2011

i've been to Mathis brothers many times and have purchased many things. Always small purchases. With several different sales associates. After reading most of the comments on this page. People are ridiculous. Furniture is made over seas because people are so cheap and are always trying to cut corners and have someone else make everything cheaper. This is every industry not just furniture. So after complaining about prices, we send everything over to China. And now we complain about quality. OUR FAULT PEOPLE! Mathis brothers has always done a fine job to me. If things are out of stock, they""re out of stock! so what. It's not life and death. It's a sofa or a bed. Again so what! What is this world coming to that we have to complain about every little thing all the time. Get a life! Stop whineing! I see people on this site, that that's all they do. You can go into the profile and see them complain about everything. Those people are so imature. Get a life. Get a date. Get off the computer. Again Mathis brothers is a solid store that tries very hard to do what is right! Look at consumer reports and you will see they have a perfect rating because they respond to every complaint with the best of their ability! more

Mathis Brothers is Awesome! 3/21/2011

Our purchase was on Feb. 10, 2011. Our whole experience with Mathis Brothers was awesome. We browse often and shop occasionally. The customer service is always great and salespeople are so knowledgeable and friendly. There really is nowhere in Tulsa that compares to your showroom and quality in items. The delivery guys were awesome as well. Your showroom gets a ?Voted Best? by us. Oh, the prices can?t be beat either. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mathis Brothers!! more

very pleasant 3/21/2011

I gave this place 5 stars because it has everything and a personal guide to help you. I was on a mission for a night stand of certain measurements. Oscar greeted me upon entry asked me what I was looking for...told him....started in Clearance worked our way thru the store looking for the chest that would fit. Oscar saved me about 2 miles of walking. Even after the first purchase needed to be canceled; (for got about how drawers pullout!!) he was very pleasant. Just wear comfortable shoes! more

After getting home, we found one table was damaged. I called and they said bring it back to be replaced. I couldn?t get back to OKC for a week, but when I did it was no problem at all. Everyone was very helpful ? Thanks. more

Wonderful and Professional People 3/17/2011

We purchased the Lady Americana Gold mattress King size set. The man at the mattresses was very informative, polite, respectful and patient with us. Our salesman, Lance Polk was very helpful as well. The first set of delivery men were very quick and efficient and polite. We called the Tulsa store, told them that the box springs needed to be exchanged because our bed was too tall. She set up a second delivery time ? no problems. L.G. and Brian called us and said they would be here between 3-5. They were here at 3:19 ? very quick, efficient, polite and respectful ? they even helped me put the bedskirt on before putting the top mattress on. Our experience with Mathis Brothers Furniture was great!! What a wonderful and professional group of people. more

Lifetime of Mathis Brothers 3/16/2011

I have been shopping at Mathis Brothers since they first began. I remember when George Jones would sing and the commercial was those Fire Blazing Prices. Your dads would play every Sunday afternoon. I think you were on Western Ave at that time. Since that time, I?ve spent thousands upon thousands of dollars with you guys and never had a complaint. I have taken friends from out of town and they would want to sight see, and I would say there is this furniture store I want to show you. They were reluctant to go, but when they saw your store, it was, ?WOW! I?ve never seen so much furniture in all my life.? I?ll continue to show your store. If you have a story you would like me to tell, I would be glad to do so. I am 88 years old and I hope I?ll still be around a few more, good Lord willing. more

Our Salesperson, John Daugherty, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was not pushy and left us alone when we needed to talk about the purchase. He was always available to answer questions. It really made our shopping experience a happy one knowing he was not going to try to sell us more than what we were looking for. Our experience in our recent purchase was extremely easy and a no pressure shopping experience.? Our salesperson Neicy Mayhew-Wright was very helpful with absolutely no pressure, just fun shopping and measuring and even bringing in a rug downstairs to see how it looked with our new couch and chairs set.?
