On Father's Day, I enjoyed a lovely brunch at Massimo's. This a la carte brunch was DELICIOUS - faboulous salads, soups, eggs and pastas were enjoyed by my family. Fish and meat choices were also availabile. We chose to sit in the al fresco portion of Massimo's dining room, which was fabulous to enjoy a leasurely meal. The waiters were attentive, but not overly so. Sunday brunch is a great addition to this fantastic Italian restaurant! more

We always make it a point to enjoy Massimo's cuisine when we visit Los Angeles and it consistantly exceeds our expectations. The Tuscan-inspired cuisine is packed with flavor, but it is never heavy. I recommend the delicatelly flavored carpaccio (the presentation is so lovely, you might be reluctant to destroy it), and the home made sausage and pasta. Massimo added "little tastes" along with its traditonal menu. They are great!Don't miss their homemade breads, and the fresh gnocchi. By the way, great energy, service and wines at this Beverly Hills restaurant. Pros: Authentic Tuscan, Superb Service, High Energy Cons: Make Reservations, Not for Kids more

This incredible place is a find. The service was warm, gracious and impeccable. If I closed my eyes I would believe i was in Italy. We were a party of six and we all shared an assortment of antipasti and pasta. I recommend the gnocchi (melt in your mouth) and the endive salad as my favorite. I thought I was too full for dessert until I smelled the melted chocolate cake. Talk about a sugar rush. It was a perfect evening! more

Massimo's is a hip and out of control addition to the Beverly Hills scene. As far as the food is concerned, the gnocchi melts in your mouth and my favorite, a hearty tuscan soup called ribbollitta, is the most flavorful and distictly divine soup, period. The atmosphere is cool and romantic, but all the pretty people make it exciting, as well. To top it off, after sampling most of the desserts on the menu, I can't think of a more satisfying and decadent dessert menu in all of Los Angeles. Pure heaven. Pros: Food, Dessert, Aesthetic more
