Purchased a replacement set of tires for our Nissan Pathfinder, the price was good that incided everything (mount, balance, 4 wheel alignment). I was very satisfied with everything. After a period of time, this type of manufactured tires did not perform well. So we went back to Martin Tire regarding the tires. After speaking to the owner regarding the tires not performing well, he offered us a credit on the tire wear we used towards a new set. Note the credit is just on the tires only which what it should be. We were very satisfied with how everything turn out. They can get any type of tire you need in a timely manner. Remember everyone you are purchasing tires not diamond rings. We will be back when we are ready for the next set. more

I had gone there on a recommendation of a friend as I was told they were reliable & great value for my price. I bought 4 tires and an alignment. I was told the alignment couldnt be done do to my ball joints needing to be replaced on a wheel (it is an older car). I was told it would cost $800. I said i would go to my mechanic. they said to bring my car back and they would do the alignment. I went to my mechanic who only charged me $550 (and he did a brake job & an oil change to my car on top of the ball joints). 2 Weeks later and I am back @ martin. I was told my other wheel needed more work and, you guessed it, we couldnt do the alignment. I was told i would need my old bill to prove i paid for the alignment. I asked " Didn't they have it in the computer?" I was told that they dont keep those. II observed that they were very friendly to those they new & not to anyone new (one both trips). more

I went to Martin Tire because our family wants to support local business. Upon arrival I was helped quickly. I have to say the owner did not treat me (woman) in the same way he treated the men in the waiting room. He spoke down to me and repeated himself many times. He did treat everybody the same when it came to being pushy and gruff. I heard the owner tell one guy "you better get that fixed or it's gonna cause you big problems". This is right after he just explained he would have to wait till he got paid to have the repair done. I was told my car would be ready in a little over an hour for 4 tires and an oil change. What I got was a two hour and forty five minutes wait time and two broken center caps that will cost $22 each to replace. The owner handed then to me without an apology and just said I would need to replace them. What I did NOT get was friendly service or any guarantee beyond tread wear. In fact when I asked about free flat repair or free tire rotation he stated if come back and pay for an oil change THEN we rotate the tires and never adressed the flat question. My tires were over priced and the they charged $50 to balance and another $60 for labor. I won't go back and I am sorry I went there. more

Good: Did work quickly. Bad: They tried to sell me a bunch of services for my car that I didn't ask for. I went in for winter tires, and they wanted to change me an addition $400 for engine flush, etc.. Improvements: Avoid high pressure sales tactics of trying to sell a bunch of non-tire related maintenance services. It comes across as dishonest.. Other: Mechanic calls me, "man you should see this sludge!" My car is a diesel, and the oil is always dirty. De-sludging is a snake oil remedy I've read!. more

they get one star because there is no option for less. They told me I needed a tie rod when I went in for tires. I felt this was suspicious brecause my vehicle had recently been checked out and there had not been any problems with the front end. I got them to give me my vehicle back (which they were pressuring me not to) then i took the vehicle to my mechanic. he checked the tie rod and found the inner adjusting sleeve was loose. he tightened it up and everything has been fine. I can not prove they loosened anything, but the circumstances as well as the VERY high pressure sales tactics made this very suspicious. also..other reviewers mention the "guarantee" promised in the sales pitch which after you have purchased the tires turns out to be a guarantee for half the price of the tires. also..they sold me an oil change for 30 dollars which i did not ask for. so to sum things up ..i went in for tires, they tried to sell me front end work i did not need (400$ although they wouldnt give a exact quote..i am sure the price increases when the credit card is in their hand)..and they did an oil change without asking, not a big deal but still unprofessional. like the other reviewer said: "keep both eyes open"..or just take your business to another garage. more

Good: Nothing the guy is a scam artist. Bad: Needed 2 tires guy offs 4 used in Exchange for 2 good ones I had and the price difference well the guy puts 4 visibly dry rotted tires on my truck I bring em bag he's dayoff g how oh those aren't bad they will be fine ...if ya got a family and wanna keep em safe go somewhere that actually cares not to this scam artist..... Improvements: Ownership. Other: Maybe have your employees not grill everyone that comes in and maybe have them say hi how can I help you instead of looking like a bunch of dirty thugs. more

Good: This is the fourth time using Martin Tire & I have always had a good experience. They are upfront with you if any additional work was needed. There is no pressure. If you choose to do the repairs that are unexpected,they will accommodate the situation right then & there. Let's face it who enjoys buying tires or car repairs... The point is they are dependable, reliable, honest & what's most important to me they will accommodate you in a timely manner!. more
