I've been eating at Maroosh with my family for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love this place. Best part is, is that Maroosh is extremely consistent; I know what to expect every time I go.\r \r The food is excellent, fresh, great quality and the portions are more than enough. I'm pretty particular with the lamb I eat and their rack of lamb is to die for. I can safely say between my family and I over the years, we've ordered everything off the menu and I have yet to be disappointed. Everything is very flavorful and coming from a Lebanese background, it all tastes authentic as well. The appetizer sampler is a great idea to get a feel for the menu; you get to taste a little bit of everythnig\r \r Maroosh is fairly small in size so it may feel crowded at times but it has an upstairs that is typically used for large parties. The decor is exotic, Mediterranean and very inviting; unlike many typical restaurants. On weekends there are belly dancers performing through out the night so be prepared, they may try and make you dance!\r \r The staff is extra friendly and always on point. The owner, Samir, is always on the floor checking in on both his staff and guests. more

Had the family style dinner split between 6 guys. We had plenty of food. The food was great. The shrimp was my favorite and a close second was the beef. more

You haven't lived till you've gorged on the raw kibbeh at Maroosh. Perfectly seasoned and immaculately fresh, this is a must have. more

Prices are a little high, but the portions are fair and the food quality is excellent. \r \r The gyro platter did not disappoint! I was initially taken aback by the $18.95 price, but the portion was very generous and could easily have been shared. The shwarma was delightfully moist and flavorful, as was the rice pilaf. The platter also came with a large portion of hummus and all the accompaniments: tzatiki, cucumber, tomatoes, and an endless supply of fresh pita bread. \r \r Maroosh is small, making it difficult to accomodate large groups. I wouldn't recommend eating there with a party of more than 6 - and do call ahead for reservations.\r \r Overall, my experience at Maroosh was positive. There are other Lebanese restaraunts that are half the price, but Maroosh is more about the ambiance. It's a nice place to enjoy a good meal, sip some mint tea and take in a belly dance show. more

I am of Middle Eastern descent and I cook this food! They do not use any seasoning. It is a poor excuse for this type of cuisine! The Pita bread was STALE! There's no excuse for that! AND to top it off...it's expensive for what you get! Who in the Middle east EVER serves a broccoli, carrot and green bean medley as a veg? Not in my family!! Go somewhere else! more

Excellent food at an excellent price 2/11/2009

The dishes are all spectacular! I've visited this restaurant on 3 seperate occassions and have tried 3 different entrees and appetizers. I have yet to be dissappointed. The kafta is excellent, all appetizers are delicious, and the baklava is to die for! I cannot find anything bad to say about this establisment. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who like mediterrenean food. Pros: Excellent food. Excellent service. Reasonable Prices Cons: Coral Gables parking in general more

Great Experience!!! 9/18/2008

I went to a baby shower there recently and the service was great! The food was very tasty and the ambiance is very nice and comfortable (no sitting on pillows or uncomfortable chairs). The food was presented very nicely and tasted great. I normally do not like lamb and the lamb was delicious. As well as the hummus, babaganouj and the salad. more

Great all around!! 8/18/2008

My Boyfriend and I absolutely love this place! The service is quick, friendly, and attentive. I've never been dissatisfied. The food comes out fresh and hot. The bread is served warm and the salads cool and crisp. I LOVE the lamb medallions and the hummus and babaganouj are out of this world. You get a lot of good quality food for your money. Whenever I go there, the owner is always walking around asking everyone how things are...and no one ever has a complaint. Its a good place to go either with just your significant other or a big group of friends as they have lots of different appetizers to share and each is authentic and DELISH! Pros: food and service Cons: nothing more

Since the first time I went to Maroosh, I enjoyed the environment, cause it's crowded but everything flows. I ordered raw kibbeh and it was really good. I've tasted its hummus, it has an enjoyable flavor. But they have a real plate that I love, it's the Lamb Kabab, which is a skewer with lamb cooked at perfect term (medium to me), onion and pepper, rice with crusty oats on the top, and raw onion with cilantro. Besides I enjoy its fresh salad with feta cheese and of course, the milk puddin with pistachio and rose water. That combination drives me crazy. I love that restaurant and I recommend it to everybody. more
