Highly dissatisfied, terrible salon! I went to get my hair colored my natural dirty blonde color and instead ended up with reddish brown hair!! After complaining, I came in 2 days later to have an experienced stylist fix it. To my dismay, she said she could not color it again and instead tried to tone and highlight it. It came out lighter but is still reddish brown!! I am a fair skinned person and I look terrible!! Still unsatisfied, I tried to contact Marlene herself. She has not gone out of her way to stay late or come in on a day she usually is not there to make a customer of her salon happy. She is going to look at it to see what she can do this weekend. However, this whole experience has made me feel very unvalued as a customer. The manager and staff did not offer an apology or any way to accommodate me to make me feel better about my current situation or about the salon! Instead, they wanted me to buy a product to help to "get the red out" of my hair! Do not go to Marlene WEber! Take your business to her competitors where you will feel more valued as a customer!! more

1. Was treated as if I was an alien. 2. Was asked several times...Is this a gift certificate?.As if the treatment is different. 3. Had massage, hair, facial, pedicure. All attendants treated me like an untouchable. The person who did the massage told me to lie down with my clothes on. I asked don't you have robes? Did I mention that I was a person of color? By the way, it was a $200 gift certificate. I will never, ever recommend Marlene Weber. You see, I visited another SPA..different name and was treated like I should have been treated... a queen. I just moved to the area from Albany and I have to say that I was shocked at how horrible and unprofessional the service was at Marlene Weber! First off, there was the "bait and switch." The receptionist quoted me one price then when I got to the salon they charged me double telling me that the receptionist is new and gave me the wrong prices! Stupidly, I still got my haircut there because I wanted to give the salon the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. The hair cut they gave me was straight out of the 80s. I actually went to another salon nearby and got my hair re-cut at half the price and it was a MUCH better cut. Pros: Very clean, parking Cons: Dishonest more
