Competent and Informed 5/27/2011

Mark Jacobson Toyota never fails to deliver the best, quickest, and most consistently excellent service. I purchased my 2008 Prius here (my first new car!) from Frank, by far the sweetest, most helpful car salesperson I have ever met, and I have been coming here for service ever since. I've owned more than a few cars in my life and, like most, dreaded it whenever time came around to purchase a new one. Ugh, I *hate* haggling. What's cool about Mark Jacobson, though, is that the whole process is haggle free. They choose a reasonable, competitive price and that's what you pay. It's nice, having that stress out of the way, so they can focus on providing me with excellent customer service. Every year on my car's anniversary, Frank sends me a card with a handwritten note inside. It's a small gesture, but I love it. Of course, setting up the payment info still takes forever, but they're super nice, get you the payment plan you want, and there is complimentary water, tea, and coffee, as well as snacks to purchase if you get peckish during your wait. I find the mechanics competent and informed. I never feel like they're trying to nickel and dime me for things I don't need, like I used to when I went to chain oil change garages. I find the summary report at the end of the service very thorough. Their shuttle service is super helpful if you need to drop your car off in the morning---the service center is open 7 to 7 on weekdays, with only slightly shorter hours on the weekends!---head to work, then get picked up again in the afternoon. The shuttle service is reliable and the drivers are courteous and friendly. There's also the option of hanging in the waiting area, which is comfy and clean, with a big TV and free wifi. On visits during non-peak hours, they can easily change your oil and, say, two tires in under an hour. Also, it's just across the street from TJ Maxx and some other shops, so it's a cinch to kill the time. more

They are conveniently located off of 15-501 and you cant miss them. There are also a lot of other dealers in that area so you can pretty much shop around a little bit. They gave me a great deal on a used car, and paid me pretty well when i traded in my old toyota corolla. I'm really happy with my new car and I know that I got a pretty good deal, beacuse i really did shop around a bit before i decided to buy the car. They have great financing options which was a plus for me beacuse i really didnt think that i could afford a new car at that time. The sales man was very helpful, not too pushy to sell me the car and just told me the facts. more

I have been to some of car dealers in RTP area but I found most of them being junk yard of cars. But in MJ I felt being a valued customer with professional attire of staff and warm welcome. Also the sales person (who became a personal friend and helped me in finding right insurance for me) was not putting any pressure on me to buy the vehicle and gave us sufficient room to take an informed decision. more

Mr. Mark Jacobson personally offered to assist me in any way he could when I came to the dealership one day after my old 1990 Toyota Camry Broke down. That level of customer service from the owner down to the employees of the dealership was very nice and sets this dealership apart from others. Just had a great experience here! I was reluctant to take my 2000 Corolla to a dealer for service, but called yesterday for an appointment and got one for today. Drove up and had the service person come to my car...took care of my questions. The van took me home immediately -- and would have come back for me had I not had a ride. They called me during the day about what was going on with my car. The car was ready when they said it would be. It was expensive, but all lot of things needed to be fixed. I was very pleased with the service. more

Went to Mark Jacobson to have the timing belt changed on my Toyota 4Runner. We called around for prices on the service first and they had the best price. When we pulled up to the service area we were helped immediately. The service person that checked us in was extremely friendly and called when my truck was ready to be picked up at the time they said it would be ready. I was happy to find that my bill was lower than they quoted when I paid for the service. I would go back to them for service and would recommend the service department. more

They have a good selection of used cars as well.. They are extremely friendly and I found that they were very helpful in finding you the right car for you! They don't try to push you to buy a car that you're not inclined towards, and they follow-up regularly if they find something they think you might like. Also, I like the idea of No-haggle prices - they give you a good deal and you don't walk out wondering if you paid more and could've gotten a bigger discount if you had ""haggled""! more

Wonderful Customer Service 11/2/2010

They do things a little differently, they have a no-haggle policy. So, what you see is what it costs. I would have like the opportunity to negotiate, but it ended up working out. We liked a 2007 Acura TSX they had but it was out of our price range. The salesman understood our budget constraints. and was patient with us. He called us every time they reduced the price. The price dropped $4000 and we snagged it. more
