I was nervous about my root canal, but it was pain free and I was able to get the crown the same day which is good because I need another crown and root canal on a different tooth. Definitely not nervous this time very convient and the crown is amazing looks so natural more

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Maritato and his staff.\r Having not been to the dentist for 6+ years due to fear from past experiences, I needed extensive dental work. Within a 6 month span, I had visited Dr. Maritato 6 times. Every procedure has been pain free, the thing I was most apprehensive about. Dr. Maritato and his staff did everything possible and made suggestions of things I could do to relax. It is easy to trust this dentist and his staff. Dr. Maritato obviously takes pride in his work, because he explains everything thoroughly and is using current technolgy for imaging and procedures. \r I am more than excited to know that I will never have to neglect my teeth for years again. more

I cannot believe how beautiful my new tooth looks. I was going to another dentist for practically my whole life and I could not believe how much higher quality of work Dr. Maritato did than my last dentist. I was able to get my whole tooth done in ONE VISIT!! I will never see another dentist again! I look forward to getting more work done with him. He and his staff are kind and funny, they made my visit a truly wonderful experience. Just had a cleaning yesterday. Bad news...found a cavity.Good news...it could be fix/filled the same day! Been going to Maritato Dental for over 10 years. The staff are caring and friendly. Mario likes to stay current with the latest in technology and current with dental trends. He is also participates in local/international charity work. Our church participated in a medical brigade in Honduras last summer which included dentistry, optical, medical and children's services. His office provided toothbrushes and toothpaste for team to give to Hondurans who came to the free clinic in their neighborhood. If you look under photos, you can see the toothbrush and toothpaste on the tray in the Honduran clinic. Thanks Mario and staff for giving back to our community and the less fortunate around the world. more

Ive been going to Dr.Mario since he was across the street from gateway,and they have always given me great service.What i like most about Dr Marios office is that he is always updating with the latest technology which makes the visits quicker and more comfortable. more

I personally had a great experience with Dr. Maritato and staff. I have been going to Maritato Dental for about 5 years now, and they personally helped me understand what I needed to work on and do to keep my mouth very healthy. Also they did not waste my time at ALL, I am a very busy person and they helped me schedule an appointment that was perfect for me. I don't know where those people with the bad reviews went, because they defiantly have Maritato Dental all wrong. Dr. Maritato is very kind and patient and is always there to hear your input on what he suggests, he tries to help you and make you comfortable as possible. Not once have I ever been disappointed with my service and I will continue to go here, and I will bring my future children here also. Not only does Maritato dental help me as a working women, but it is family friendly and Dr. Maritato himself has two daughters and works well with children. My family and I have been coming to this office for a couple years now and we have been very happy with all of the dental treatment received. Prior to coming to Maritato I was told I needed a crown. After checking a few other offices I found that Dr Maritato can do very natural looking crowns with no metal and he does them in only one visit . I also realized that these awesome crowns cost the same amount as other offices charge for the outdated type of crowns. No hassle and taking off multiple days of work. This office has all of the newest equipment and technology and the staff and Doctor were great. I recommend this office. more

Years ago before he started his own business on Greenbay Road I was a patient of Dr. Maritato when he worked at a office over by Gateway. I always had my teeth cleaned twice a year and checked. During the years I was told that I always had some sort of cavity that needed to be filled when I would get my teeth cleaned twice a year and followed normal everyday care for my teeth. When he moved into his new office on Greenbay Road and I had my first visit with him... he told me I had all these problems and I need all this work done and a deep cleaning to top it all off!! Basically, my teeth were in bad shape after he was my dentist for how many years!! Well, that was about 15 years ago and since I switched dental providers there has been no cavities (for 15 years!) and no work done on my teeth and my teeth are totally fine!!! He just wants your money!!!! Shame on you!!!! more

The staff at Maritato Dental are very nice and helpful. They make the office a friendly place. As a new patient, I wasn't even greeted with a hello when I met w. Dr. Maritato. He explained what needed to be repaired with regards to my teeth and walked out.\r \r When I returned to have cavities filled, the drill hit a nerve-causing me to flinch. The dr. then began to yell at me for doing that and walked out of the room. He returned and finished filling my cavities. I have never been treated so rudely. more

I had a new patient consultation appointment that when scheduled, was told would take about a half hour. One hour and 45 minutes later, I was on my way in a bad mood. I did have a very pleasant encounter with the dental assistant who took my x-rays. However, I noticed that the assistant kept typing into a computer and seemed to be waiting for something. I asked her what she was doing and she told me that she was paging Dr. Maritato to tell him that I was ready to meet him. After paging him three times; he was ""busy"" catching up with small talk with another patient across the wall from me, the assistant told me that it would be just a few more minutes. 35 minutes after the first ""page"" to him, Dr. Maritato walked in to my space. No greeting, no welcoming conversation, no apology for being so late, and did not even take the time to review x-rays and notes that I had provided from my previous dentist. He looked into my mouth, told me that I should have my fillings replaced and that I have periodontal disease, and got up out of the chair as if he was finished with me. I told him that I didn't understand what he was talking about especially since I had seen my previous dentist six months prior and was not told that I had this ""condition."" He told the assistant to play the video on periodontal disease and walked out of the room. I thought for sure he would return to at least have somewhat of a ""new patient"" welcoming conversation with me, but I was told that I could go up front to set up my next appointments for the procedure Dr. Maritato recommended. I was unimpressed with Dr. Maritato's chairside manner. I thought it was unprofessional and unfriendly to barely acknowledge me, and worse to walk in 35 minutes late. I understand that there are emergencies in the healthcare industry, however, it was obvious to me that since I could hear his entire conversation with the patient next to me, that there was no emergency; just an overly-social dentist. I have been utilizing my dental services @ Maritato Dental for over 5 years. My family (5) gets bi-annual cleaning and regular check-ups and are Pro-active with dental visits. \r \r Problem is..Ownership! Of all the years having a pleasant relationship with Maritato Dental, I decided today to find someone else to clean my families teeth. WHY might you ask?\r \r I went in today for a cleaning and Jody (very pleasant) did a wonderful job as usual. At the end of the cleaning the Dentist came in and explained that I had a very small cavity. His recomendation was to put a partial crown on the tooth that had a older filling. I explained to him that I would very much like to keep the tooth and avoid a crown. (THIS IS WHERE IT GETS WIERD)\r \r The Dentist.(owner)..Got up out of his chair, threw his hands up and says ""do what you want to do"" and walks out. Im laying in the chair and rotate to see him walking out the door. I call to him...can we talk about my options..\r \r I was left simmering for 10 more minutes on the chair and ask politely to speak to the Dentist. They bring me to the office, and I sit for another 10 minutes and was finally told by the receptionist that the Dentist was busy with other clients and has nothing else to say.END OF DISCUSSION. \r \r I explained to her that I would very much like to resolve this and would be excusing myself at the respect of the others who had appointments but would like a call from the Dentist. She agreed and later that afternoon she called me back to inform me that the Dentist WAS STILL NOT GOING TO TALK.\r \r Of all the years working with Customer orientated businesses, I've never seen an owner refuse to talk to a customer because I had a difference of opinion. One would think that would be a good segway to discuss in further detail, why it would (or would not) be necessary to keep my tooth?? Because of his decison not to discuss this conflict, I'm resolved to look for another perfect dentist.
