I tried Maria's on a whim while at the Publix shopping center on Atlantic Blvd, and was greatly surprised at how good it really was. I was expecting your everyday Olive Garden type of place. However, once the food arrived, I realized I was in an authentic NY style Italian eatery. My favorite is the Eggplant Parmesan sub, it is huge and topped with loads of Mozarella. They also have great calzones, pastas, and pizzas. Another thing worth noting is the amazing amount of sports memorabilia the owner has collected through the years. The bottom line is this is a great local place with good food and good prices.
