Margaritas Mexican Restaurant & Watering Hole

I've been to Margaritas four times. The first time I thought it was excellent, I had the nachos and a cheese crisp appetizer. The service was great and the view of the river is fantastic, if you come in summer you can sit at the balcony or sit on the second floor. The second time I visited I had a mexican burrito, it was bland, there was no sense of a Mexican flavor at all. The peach margarita I had was horrific. At least it had a good amount of booze in it. I thought I would give them a third chance since the first time was so wonderful. I had the nachos again. The food took an hour and a half. They did cover the food on my bill but still the wait time was not acceptable. The last time I went was with my work so I didn't have a choice of locations. The service was disorganized but the fajitas were good. This place seems to be a real mixed bag. The view is fantastic, it's the kind of place that you would take a visitor from out of town. For some reason though they just can't get the food or service right. Pros: The view of the river Cons: Poor Mexican food and average service more

They have a HUGE margarita Menu! Fun friendly bartenders and servers!! Food is good, drinks are awesome. There is something for everyone there.. Even if you don't like mexican they have a selection for you!! A wonderful place for family dinners, a date, late night younger crowd in the bar area! Really a great spot to start a night on the town, or celebrate Cinco De Mayo! Menu is your typical mexican entrees, and is priced just right! The atmosphere is upbeat, and one of the best I have experienced! I give this place 2 thumbs up! We were looking forward to Margaritas based on the reviews. We went on a Sunday evening and it was not crowded. We were greated promptly and seated right away. From there it was down hill. Our server showed up about 10 minutes later to ask about drinks, we asked for more chips and salsa, which he forgot. It was not just our table, the wait staff was spending more appologizing to the customers that evening then serving food or drinks. Table next to us was atleast given free drinks for their wait as was another table. We waited 25 minutes for our food. The food was Ok at best, and cool when it arrived. There are several Mexican resturants in Nashua with much better food and service. We will not be back to Margaritas. Pros: Ambience, the deck looking over the nashua fall is nice on a warm summer evening Cons: Poor Service, Ok and Cold food more
