Guys, I have had the misfortune of staying here for 1year. It was bad judgement on my part to go for this place. Should have consulted a few residents before signing the lease. I have had so many bad experiences, that I opened this account on TripAdvisor, Google reviews and here with the single intent of forewarning others who might consider this place.
Lifts are stuck for hours, concierge is rude, the building stands in a relatively open stretch, and it's so windy that the old airconditioners do not warm the interiors enough. We leave our airconditioners on all the time, and yet, when we have friends visiting us, they can't take of their jackets. It's very annoying.
The management office is not accomodating at all. I have stayed in many apartments before, good and bad, and at those places, if you delayed paying the monthly rent by a week or so, the late fee was in the range of USD 25-50. Here, over the last 10 months, I was late just once, and that too by a day. I was slapped with a late fee of USD 200. This is just one example. There are all kinds of weird ways in which they fleece you. Forget your keys inside, and a building approved locksmith will charge you USD 80 to open the door for you. Ameneties fee is sky high, but the elevators suck, often you have to wait 15 minutes before your turn. Most of all, it's so windy, and the fittings are old, so it gets really cold inside.
I think I have been repetitive, but it's really not worth it. I am considering breaking my lease, paying them as much as I have to, but I want out. Marbella sucks.
