The owner is knowledgeable and provides quick service, so she deserves two stars instead of one. Her manner is the problem. She is at best curt, usually sarcastic and rude, and once in a while downright mean. The prices are higher than the going rate, but it's conveniently located. I'm a very friendly person and almost everyone in my world treats me well, but not this lady. I'm mystified by the raters who have good experiences with her, and I suspect she takes a dislike to some people based on how they look or something. She certainly doesn't know me. I've been in there mabe six times and she's been awful each time. Oh, and by the way, the one time I witnessed her chatting with a customer (probably ponderingpig or mystical23, or someone else she decided to like), she was gossiping about another person. I'm not going back there; I drive several extra miles for my shipping needs rather than expose myself to her negativity. more

Very knowledgeable and quick service. Short lines, affordable prices and unique items. Owner very friendly and always takes the extra time to chat. Love it! more

I've been using Manito Ship & Copy for years. Mary is a neighborhood institution. Sure, she can be cranky but she can also be very funny and charming. I always look forward to going there because she makes such a great break in the day. Plus she and her helpers get the work done fast and efficiently. Just relax. Get a little sense of humor. I would go out of my way to use Manito Ship & Copy, and highly recommend the place. more

I went in to mail a phone back to verizon. Seems simple? I was not sure where to affix shipping label so left it off of the box. Went in to my neighborhood shipping business. Support local businesses is what I aim for. Well I went in with my boxes and shipping label and the gal behind the counter was very pleasant and when I explained that I didnt know where the shipping label went a lady from the back (Mary the owner of the local business) says well you cant read!!! I cant believe she said that to me. Who says what you cant read. So I proceeded with my request .I was so furious. So in the mean time they charged me a dollar for tape on top of the rude and unpleasant experience I had.I looked all over the label to see if it had instructions on where I put the damn label. The owner of the business actually ran out of the store to give a fax back to a lady who was driving away. Who cant read again?????? Will never step back in that store again. I am also contacting fed ex about a store that represents them and how they treat their customers. I am in customer service and never have I said to a customer what you cant read the menu!!!!
