Best Volvo Mechanic in Orlando Area 12/24/2011

I have been a Volvo owner since 1996, and as my car has aged, the repairs were getting out of sight. But I discovered Ian at Maitland Imports who diagnosed a problem that could have resulted in a very serious accident and promptly replaced the part. He also helped me reduce my costs to replace other aging parts, and saved me a considerable amount of money. He has demonstrated that he has his customer's best interests in mind with regard to getting the most efficient use of my Volvo at reasonable prices. Communication is one of Ian's great assets, and he has tremendous patience in explaining all aspects of the repair, pros and cons of different alternatives, and has a wealth of knowledge about his business. I am so happy I found Maitland Imports. Other mechanics just took my money or used inferior parts. I have the utmost confidence and respect for the way Maitland Imports treats their customers, and highly recommend them to anyone who is tired of paying higher prices elsewhere and not getting what they paid for. Maitland Imports and Ian are the best! more

My new "go to" mechanic! 7/29/2011

I am so glad I found this shop! I did extensive searching using google, and also a mini forum, they had pretty unanimous good reviews and recommendations, so I have to add my own! Ian was the BEST mechanic I've ever dealt with as far as communication goes, he put up with me, he explained everything, and he was very accommodating. The price was GREAT considering the work that was done and that this is a MINI we are talking about. :) \r You cannot imagine the relief I feel having my problem FINALLY taken care of, and to be done so WELL too. \r \r I just can't say enough good things about Ian and Phil!\r Thank you!!!!! more

BEST Volvo Mechanics in Orlando! 8/29/2009

We've been going to Maitland Importers since 2001 when our new Volvo needed a simple repair. The dealership wanted to charge us an obscene amount of money, then we found this gem. They did the same repair for a third of the cost, and they are certified by Volvo so the warranty remained in-tact. PERFECT! They've been working on our Volvo ever since. The only drawback is that they are in a sort of sketchy part of town. But, they are always willing to work with our budget, listen to our ideas, and consider our needs. Not to mention that they are great mechanics who actually know what they are doing and we don't have to bring the car in 3 or 4 times to get a problem fixed. Now we live in Gainesville, but we still drive to Orlando when the car needs work. Would recommend to any Volvo owner! more
