The food was ok, but at $15 for the average dish, this would be considered overpriced for Manhattan (let alone, Fort Lee, NJ). My friend asked for a recommendation for a spicy dish, and the waiter came up with the lame reply that ""we can make anything spicy"". When my friend again asked for a recommendation, the waiter still couldn't offer up any suggestion. After the four of us selected our main courses, the waiter then pushed a very hard and annoying sell on the appetizers and drinks, going around the table to ask each one of us separately if we wanted anything, even though I had specified he should just bring 4 glasses of water.\r

What took the cake was how stingy they were with the rice. They brought 1 small bowl for 4 people. When I asked for an additional bowl, they told us to finish the original one first. After we asked for our third bowl, the waiter went over to the computer and immediately started typing. When I got the bill I noticed that our third bowl of rice had incurred a $3.95 charge. When I told the manger to wipe that off the bill because we were never informed, he refused to do so, claiming ""I am not the owner here"". This is not to mention that they were kind enough to add a 15% gratuity directly to our bill.\r

With service like this, I don't know how they would ever generate repeat business. Not surprisingly, the restaurant was fairly empty when I was there.
Pros: food was ok
Cons: awful service, rude waitstaff
