RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!! I have never dealt with anyone as rude as these people. They were rude the entire time i was on the phone with them. I bought a Living Social deal for Chattanooga and it was almost impossible to get an appointment, since they are only in town twice a month on Tuesday. I finally was able to get an appointment, but when I asked him if he could give me an idea of when he would be at our house, considering I work full-time and I would have to take time off work, he told me he could not. That they would call me an hour before they came to our house. I asked politely if they could give me a closer estimate the day before and at least tell me if they were coming in the morning or the afternoon. He still said no and this time offered that I call Living Social to get a refund if that ""time"" not work for me. I told him that is not what I wanted, but that I would think about it. I was told that I had two days to let them know or he would take me off the schedule. So, to get this straight, I said: ""you will not tell me at what time you will be at my house making me wait ALL day, but I have to tell you quickly whether I want to cancel the service or not? I don't think so"". At which he very rudely responded: well, I'm NOT coming to your house! more

The employees broke our ceiling fan during carpet cleaning. We did not attempt to turn the light back on until several hours after they had left, and therefore I had already paid with a check. \r \r I called the owner to explain the situation. He asked what I wanted him to do. I explained that we did not know if it were the control, which is around $70, or the light fixture, which is around $120, that was actually broken. We would just have to try to find out, but we did expect his business to pay for the damage. \r \r He said that he did not believe they caused the damage, but he could come by the following week. I stated we could cancel the check until he could come by, and we could figure out exactly what the damage was, and then write a new check. He immediately became belligerent and threatening. He refused to discuss any alternatives, and I had to eventually hang up the phone because he was so hostile. more

Magic Carpet did an amazing job with my carpets today! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and my carpets look AMAZING and the whole house is fresh! Scheduling was easy with Greg. Jason came to our home do the actual cleaning and he was great. The price was right, too! more

No so good 1/19/2012

Professional and fast. They'll call you back when they want to confirm your appointment but not when you want have a complaint. After my carpets dried I still had spots that could easily come up with resolve. Maybe they should have taken a little more time to ensure the job was done right. You get what you pay for!! I had to go back and do my carpets myself. So if you just want a cheap, fast half a@@ job go to majic carpet!! The only majic is them making your $$ disappear!! more

waste of time and money!!! do not use. 11/23/2011

I hired them thru a LivingSocial Deal. I did the research. BBB said ""no unresolved complaints"" so I took a chance. Two rooms and a hall, extra charge for ""carpet protection."" Now, hallways are heavy traffic. One EXPECTS to perhaps need pretreatment or stain treatment. This was not offered, this was not done. When they were finished I thought the dark spots were bec. the carpet was wet..they left it MUCH wetter than other carpet cleaners. When it dried, I found I was wrong - pet stains and just heavy traffic dirt remain. I had planned on clean carpets for Thanksgiving; that didn't happen. I now need to call Stanley Steemer to clean AFTER Magic Carpet. $97 for absolutely nothing. a WASTE of money and a morning's time. more
