Highly Recommended. 3/10/2014

MSI Automotive does great work. They're very thorough and efficient. Our company is down the street from them and we've taken our Toyota Scion in for multiple repairs. It's been great each and every time we've used their services. They're very courteous and very reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend them. more

A happy customer! 3/4/2014

I've been going to MSI Automotive for at least 15 years. Curtis gives good advice, and his service is prompt. If you're not satisfied with the work, you can take your vehicle back and they'll do it right. Curtis doesn't necessarily do the most expensive repair. He's very good about telling you what your options are. Depending on the age of the vehicle, you may want to put more or less money in, and Curtis is very honest. more

MSI Automotive has done everything. I have an old car and they've kept it running for me. They're great, fabulous people who are very personable, very caring, and really wouldn't go any place else after these past thirteen years. more

Absolutely wonderful 2/21/2014

MSI Automotive is my go-to auto shop. They really know their stuff. They've done everything from oil changes to troubleshooting a major exhaust problem that my vehicle had. The prices are pretty standard. Curtis and Marty are very courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. I haven't found an auto shop with the type of integrity that MSI Automotive does. I'd recommend them any time. more

Very relaxed--like going to a friend's house 2/18/2014

MSI Automotive performed on two of my vehicles. I drive so much that I want to maintain them to the highest quality so I'm there once a month. It's easy to schedule an appointment and Curtis never does any work he doesn't have to do. Both the cars I bring in have over 150,000 miles on them so he does what he has to do. I don't even think about buying new cars. more

Wonderful business 2/3/2014

MSI Automotive is my go-to company for auto repair. Everyone there is honest, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. They never try to upsell me and always have excellent workmanship. I've been using them for a couple of years for brake jobs and general maintenance for my vehicles. Curtis and Marty are both very professional and on top of everything. They fix my car within the time frame that the quote me and I appreciate that. The prices are great and I'd definitely recommend them. more

They know what they're doing. 1/30/2014

I have been going to MSI Automotive for over ten years. Curtis runs everything, so I mostly deal with him or his secretary. The last thing I had them work on was a repair after my check engine light came on. It turned out that a valve was dead. They ordered the necessary part and installed it a couple of days after I first went to them about it. It passed smog, and my car was good to go. They performed everything while I waited, too, so I didn't have to get a ride from the shop or anything. I would recommend MSI Automotive. The location is convenient. They know what they're doing, and they will get it done right for you. more

Reliable service. So many repairs done to my used Suburu though! 1/24/2014

I've gone to Curtis at MSI Automotive for many years. For the most part, my experience has been very good. The staff is reliable and kind. They've been servicing the used Suburu I bought five years ago with 40,000 miles on it. However, since then, I've spent over $7,300 in repairs alone! Granted, I have driven an additional 65,000 miles, but every time I go there, I end up spending over $700. I'm just not sure if it's the car or if it's Curtis' work. I asked for the opinions of some other customers, and they don't seem to have the same issues with the prices and the amount of repairs. They're all pleased with everything. I ended up getting a different car since, so we'll have to see. It's under warranty just in case. more

Pleasing, easy to deal with, honest 1/9/2014

I have 4 cars in the care of MSI Automotive right now and I use them about 3-4 times a year. Its always really easy and they take care of the issue the first time. When they return the car it looks brand new and I have never had a problem with them. Their service is one of a kind! more

Easy to work with, great service and no surprises 3/7/2013

Have used MS&I since 2009 for our 2 cars. Never had an issue with work done, price, or timiliness. Not much cheaper than dealer service, but at least no surprises. more

Curtis and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, honest, fair and reliable. The shop is spotless and rates competitive. I've been a happy customer for well over 10 years. There is no reason for me to go anywhere else. I highly recommend MSI. more

Curtis has been taking care of me and my automobile for 15+ years, maybe even longer! 2/8/2013

I go way back with MSI Automotive. I've always appreciated the straight and honest way Curtis is with me. These are people I trust to always be honest with me. I always recommend them to people because that's how I first discovered them. Also, there is always a bowl full of M&M's at the desk for customers to stuff their faces with while they wait! I love it there! more

I've been a loyal customer of MSI Automotive for about 3-4 years now. I really feel that they always take care of me. Whenever I call, Marty at the front desk always manages to squeeze me in. The pricing is very fair, Curtis always gives me a fair deal. Pete, who usually is the one working on my car is really professional and always does a great job. I've never, ever, ever, ever had a bad experience there. I have nothing bad to say. Everyone there is superb! I feel like I could go to any shop in San Rafael, and not receive as good of service as I do when I go there. George Erickson more
