Better to buy the membership than tickets 8/3/2008

I have been coming here since I was 2. I have learned so much and all of the workers and volunteers are extremely helpful and friendly. If you go, be sure to check out the high-wire bike and hurricane machine! MOSI is definatly a must see attraction. more

Don't Waste Your Money - It's a PIT 3/13/2007

Paid way too much money for a horrible experience. Everything is broken, and there is very little to do. What there is to do has little educational or fun value. My kids ages 4-12 hated it and were bored. I was shocked at how dirty the place was, especially the area for the toddlers and little kids. The baby area had visible dirt on the toys. Just gross. We left after an hour. Cons: Dirty and Boring more

Lots to see 8/15/2006

There are a lot of things to do here including the IMAX theatre, but it will cost you. There is a student and a senior discount available if you qualify. more

Fun and educational 8/8/2006

Tthis is one of the most entertaining museums to visit! It makes learning so muc fun! If you have not gone yet, you should soon. Unfortunatly, I did not get a chance to see the bodies exibit, but I have been to MOSI and have always been impressed with the detail, the effort they put into everything. You will have so much fun, especially if you have children. It is eye opening! PROS: So much to see and learn CONS: more

Lots of Fun 3/22/2006

I thought when i took my kids ages 7,2 and 1 they would be bored. But they had alot of stuff for them do do. Even the baby enjoyed herself. The 7 year old had lots of fun . \r Great day for the money. more

Fun for all ages 3/6/2006

MOSI is a great asset to Tampa.\r \r The exhibits they have are truely fun for all ages from the interactive ones for the little kids and the more scientific for teenagers and adults. \r \r My family will even frequent the IMAX when we are in the mood for a movie instead of just going to the regular cineplex. \r \r MOSI also offers so great wallet friendly packages for families who go repeatedly.\r \r The Einstein on Wine is also great for the adults more

Really fun and worth a drive! 1/2/2006

We made our first trip to MOSI today with our 4 children. We had a blast! When we walked in we were promptly greeted and directed to where we could present our reciprocal passes to gain free admission. There was a HUGE line due to the traveling exhibit, but we were able to bypass all of the traffic and move right along. The staff was very helpful and friendly, everyone we saw greeted us politely. My children especially enjoyed the Body Wars flight simulator and Kids in Charge. MOSI had something even my 1 and 2 year olds could enjoy. The trip was definately worth the 2 hour drive and we will be back! PROS: Something for even the youngest! CONS: more

Worth every penny!! 11/27/2005

This place is amazing and keeps getting better!! There is always something new and exciting to see at MOSI. It's great for kids and adults too. You can go to IMAX, see the new Bodies exhibit or go to the new Kids museum. It's clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Plan to stay all day and buy the pass that allows you to do it all!! more

Fantastic 11/11/2005

We have gone here many times and our son loves it and we do too! Prices can be reasonable and it does get a little crowded but it is a wonderful museum and one of the best in Tampa Bay. more

Great for everyone 11/3/2005

My children and i visited Mosi not long ago and they loved it. I find most museums to be rather boring and didnt think they would like it all that much but they did. there are lots of interactive things for the kids to do and that makes it fun for them. My youngest son loved the dinasour exhibit best. PROS: Lots of things for kids to do, Fun CONS: more

Fantastic Science Experience 11/1/2005

I think MOSI (The museum of science and industry) is smart for creating that new dead body exhibit. They are a science museum, and that is a great science learning experience. MOSI changes their exhibits fairly frequently, so whether it's dinosaurs or space, they always have something interesting. The IMAX dome is cool, but because it is not a traditional IMAX screen (normally they are just larger square screens) it can makes you a bit dizzy. Prices have certainly gone up over the years but are still reasonable. Expect to see a lot of kids running around as the museum often attracts elementary classes and field trips. more

Very fun for the kids 10/27/2005

We went to this museum during Labor Day weekend, so it was a little crowded. We arrived early enough, however, so our first couple of hours were okay. Upon first inspection, it looked like nothing special. We ended up spending all afternoon at MOSI. Our kids loved the area especially for little ones. They also liked the play area upstairs as well as the outer space exhibit. We definitely would recommend this museum to any age!! Something for everyone!! PROS: reasonably priced CONS: more

learning and fun 10/25/2005

my daughter loves this place. she learns something new everytime we go there. from the hurricane room, to thunderstorms, and more. They also have the IMAX films available for an additional fee. more

Great Museum 10/4/2005

We visited the Bodies exhibit at this museum. It was extremely educational and quite entertaining. The environment was clean and the staff friendly. The admission prices were higher than I expected, however they do give military discounts. more

a learning experience 9/11/2005

a great place to have fun with friends or family, while learning about the human anatomy at the same time. one of my friends quit smoking after looking at one of the bodies which suffered deterioration due to smoke. how better could it get. more

Something New 9/3/2005

My children have been several times each. They love it. There is always something fun and interesting to see. I don't know much about the newest exibit, but I look forward to going again. more

This is a GREAT museum! 8/14/2005

This is a great place to take the kids. My kids enjoyed every aspect of this, from the drive there to the actual exhibits. Its decently priced, and fairly clean. I would reccomend this museum to everyone, whether you have children or not. In fact, i will be taking my neices and nephews there as birthday presents from now on! They were really interested in all the electricity displays! more

Children's Dream! 8/13/2005

This museum is by far the best one I've ever been to. Not only are the local, but they have almost every you would expect to find. My children love going to Mosi every month. more
