BE ADVISED THAT THIS IS WRITTEN BY LONG TIME PROFESSIONALS IN THE WEST TEXAS COMMUNITY. I THINK THAT IT IS VERY FAIR TO SUGGEST THAT WE ARE KNOWN FOR OUR INTEGRITY, FAIRNESS AND TRANSPARENCY. WARNING: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS OPERATION. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY REGARDING OUR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE VIA MY SONS. ZERO DOUBT, THIS ORGANIZATION LACKS INTEGRITY AND PROFESSIONALISM. RENTERS BEWARE AS MY STORY IS TOTALLY CONGRUENT THE HORRIBLE REVIEWS ALREADY PUBLISHED. SUFFICE IT TO SAY THAT ONE OF THE LEAD MANAGERS, ASHTON, AFTER BEING CAUGHT IN HER OWN WEB OF LIES, CALLED THE POLICE WHEN WE DISCOVERED ITEMS THAT WE HAD BEEN CHARGED FOR IN THE APARTMENT WERE NOT MISSING AS SHE HAD SUGGESTED; PARTICULARLY AFTER THEY KEPT OUR 1,400 DEPOSIT (LITERALLY MY SON SHOWED HER THE MODEMS WHICH THEY CHARGED US FOR...AND YES YOU GUESSED IT...THEIR MOTTO APPEARS TO BE CHARGE AWAY....AND DO NOT ....CONDUCT ACCURATE RESEARCH). YES, I WOULD CALL THE POLICE TOO AS PERHAPS SHE SHOULD GO ON RECORD WITH HER LIES. HOW KIND...ASHTON SUGGESTED THEY COULD DROP THOSE TRUMPED UP CHARGES. AN INTERESTING TWIST IS THAT THE STAFFER THAT IS CONDUCTING THE ASSESSMENT OF MOVE-OUT CHARGES IS THE BROTHER OF THE WOMAN COLLECTING THE MONIES FOR THE DEPOSIT REIMBURSEMENT CHARGES. NEPOTISM? PERHAPS. WHAT IS ALSO INTERESTING IS THAT THEY CONDUCT AN ASSESSMENT OF THE CHARGES BEFORE ACTUALLY DOING THE WORK. FOR EXAMPLE, THEY CHARGE FOR CLEANINGS THAT NEVER OCCURRED. YES, THEY CONDUCT A ""INFORMED"" WALK TROUGH FROM WHICH YOUR REFUND IS BASED. (NOTE: THE INFORMED WALK TROUGH CHECK SHEET INCLUDES SUCH SOPHISTICATED MEASURES AS MEDIUM, HIGH LOW..... ). THEY ASSURE ME THAT THEY WILL SEND ME ANOTHER CHECK IF THEIR RESPECTIVE GUESS WORK FALLS SHORT OF THE ACTUAL LABOR INCLUDING CARPET AS THEY CHARGED US FOR REPLACEMENT CARPET WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO PROFESSIONALLY CLEAN IT (REMEMBER WE LEFT ANOTHER CHECK TO PAY FOR PROFESSIONAL CLEANINGS). SADLY, THE STAFF WENT TO THE APARTMENT THAT I WILL CONTINUE TO ARGUE WAS IMMACULATE (LESS UNDER THE STOVE AND THE CARPET THAT I FOOLISHLY LEFT ANOTHER CHECK FOR THEM TO USE TO HAVE THEM PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED) AND INTERESTINGLY...PAINT DROPPINGS AND OTHER RANDOM THINGS APPEARED THAT WERE NOT THERE BEFORE WE CLOSED THE DOOR BEHIND US. HUMMM....FUNNY THEY NEVER COVERED MANY THINGS THAT I CONTINUE TO CONTEND WERE NOT THERE UPON MY PERSONAL INSPECTION NOR IN THEIR EXIT REVIEW/REFUND BUT ONLY AFTER WE COMPLAINED ABOUT OUR ZERO REFUND. PLEASE NOTICE IN THEIR LEASE AGREEMENT, THAT SUGGESTS THAT EVEN IF YOU REQUEST A WALK THROUGH, THEY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LATER CHARGES AS THE WALK THROUGH IS NOT SUFFICIENT IN AND OF ITSELF. THE AGREEMENT STATES THAT THEY ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY STATEMENTS THAT THEY MAKE DURING A WALK THROUGH...THUS, BASICALLY REVERSING ANY ""CLEAN"" WALK THROUGH... THE SAME AFOREMENTIONED ""MANAGER"" WENT ON TO HIDE IN THE GARAGE OF THE MANAGEMENT OFFICE BUILDING UNTIL OUR DEPARTURE AS SHE DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH ANY MORE OF OUR PENETRATING QUESTIONS. HONORABLE AND PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR NO DOUBT! AS A GOODBYE THANK YOU, SHE AND HER FELLOW ""MANAGEMENT"" STAFFERS WENT ON TO ADD ADDITIONAL CHARGES TO THE ALREADY FALSIFIED BILL WHICH BEGS AN INTERESTING QUESTION: WHY LACK THE COURAGE TO CONFRONT THE ISSUES IF YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT? FURTHERMORE, THEY REPEATEDLY REFUSED TO GIVE THE REQUIRED LEGAL INFORMATION ON THE AGENT OF THE OPERATION AS REQUIRED BY LAW. I have lived in so many cities in the past 10 years. This is the first time I have had so many issues with service. I think Lynnwood Townhomes is one of the WORST places I have ever lived. I maintenance men look questionable and the ladies in the front office are snobby! They provide horrible service and do so with a smirk always threatening! I would not recommend this place to any parent. I work with students and I will be sure to mention to stay clear of this place! more

I was fine living in the Lynnwood Townhomes with exceptions to the yard being kept and the alleys cleaned of broken bottles. That says a lot right? \r \r Not to mention, I have been a reliable tenant for 10 months. I accepted a job in Dallas, Texas and have attempted to sub-lease the townhome. I called the office to let them know I left the key and JILL immediately attacked me insinuating that the townhome was left in a horrible mess, because the keys were left for them, I was told that this was now their property and I would be served a certified letter within 30 days, I was considered a skip out, and was just flat rude. The amazing thing is, the carpet has normal wear from normal living. This is the purpose of a deposit, have it cleaned. I left the townhome in better condition than I received it in. The place was filthy upon move in and there were many things that were broken. I did the walk through and did make mention of the things that were not done. I wonder if this is why Jill feels I left the townhome in a mess. Could it be they were looking at the same things I wrote up on the walk through? \r \r The ironic thing is that today is only 12/03/2012 and she assumed that I skipped out. The amazing thing is that I have paid my rent in advance since I lived in the apartment and I have proof of this. So why would I skip out now. I also called prior to my leaving to explain my situation and ask for guidance. So can you tell me why I would have been treated in this matter?\r Last, since I moved in the place, I have been asked to complete surveys because there has been so many complaints against the townhomes. Gee, I wonder why? \r I also noticed that everyone is accused of horrible carpet. I cannot help but wonder if they are putting something on the carpet for it to turn out a certain way. \r Last, I have paid over $350.00 per month for utilities since I lived in the townhomes. With that being said, this is a lot and yet, I still paid my rent in advance only to be treated like a non-paying renter by JILL!\r more

I lived in Lynnwood for about a year, I got the resident I took over for's deposit transferred to my lease. The carpet in my room (as well as throughout the house) was already decently trashed; as the end of my roommates and I's lease neared, the owner told us that if we could move out by a certain early date, all damage to the carpet would be paid for. We went to troubling effort to get moved out by that date. The cleaners jumped the gun, 'took' my roommate's ipad and other stuff, and he had to go through real trouble getting his things back. Now I'm getting calls and threatening sounding text messages saying that I owe several hundred dollars for new carpet. I'm going to go on the record saying that the yard keeping duties the front office promised were never taken care of. Our lawn never was watered, and seldom mowed. Also, when I signed the lease for my $300/month rent, the website and office still advertised included bus services. The bus service that was supposedly included in the $300 didn't happen, but the rent remained the same. The plumbers came from time to time throughout the year, and never fixed the problems. The owner is no longer there, but he gave us the offer of carpet damage forgiveness before we moved out. Therefore I will not pay the fee, and I feel inclined that when anyone asks me about Lynnwood to strongly suggest they take their business elsewhere. more

IDK HER NAME BT SHE DRIVES A SILVER HHR. I RAN INTO HER THE OTHER DAY. I WAS AT MY GIRL HOUSE CLEANING. HAVING A LITTLE TROUBLE WITH STUBBORN STAINS. I TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF. THE CLEANING LADY WAS PUTTING HER STUFF IN HER STORAGE WHEN I ASKED HER WHAT SHE USES. SHE SHOWED ME SEVERAL CLEANING PRODUCTS. AND HOW TO USE THEM. TO PUT THE ICING ON THE CAKE SHE CAME AND CLEANED IT FOR ME. I WAS JUST OVERJOYED. BECAUSE IT WAS ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND ANNIVERSARY. I FEEL SHE WENT ABOVE HER DUTIES TO HELP ME AS A STRANGER... SO WHAT I'M SAYING IS IF ANYBODY THAT LIVES AT LYNNWOOD AND NEED HELP CLEANING. I RECOMMEND HER. SHE'S MY HERO..I WOULD LOVE TO FIND OUT HER NAME SO THAT I CAN PERSONALLY THANK HER MYSELF.. more

Its a scam 2/25/2012

For all the parents looking to let your kids live at Lynnwood and for all the current residents living at lynnwood. The reason the utility bill is so much in the winter is that the owner Elroy had the maintenance crew (a few years ago) re-wire the thermostats to only use emergency heat strips to heat the units instead of the compressors on the heat pumps. He did this to save the compressors outside becaust they went out of warranty (he did not want to pay for repairs if needed) This rewiring of the thermostats has caused each residents utility bill to increase hundreds of dollars per month during the winter months. the reviews previously published are no doubt created by the office staff. Dont be fooled the property is poorly managed and on all leans executed the merchandise taken from a property is not put up for public auction after the maturity time but distributed throughout the ownership and employment staff.. BE LEARY ABOUT RENTING WITH LYNNWOOD Elroy SHAME on YOU Its time to step down the 100 million settlement you got from Oklahoma should be enough to get you through dont break our residents in Lubbock Enough is Enough,,,,,,, more

Loved working there 3/21/2011

I used to work at Lynnwood and I really enjoyed working there. I can tell you from experience that if you do what you are suppose to do which every apartment complex in Lubbock requires you which is pay your rent and take care of the house then you will not run into any problems with them. As for the maintenance they will try their hardest to get ALL work orders done within 24-48 hours. Elroy the owner is a very nice guy and will respect you as long as you respect him. more

the best place in town 3/17/2011

i have lived in lynnwood for 3 yrs and i love it. the cost is very affordable and that helps me out since im a divorced dad and pay lots of child support. the owener mr wisian is nice and takes care of business ,he is always avaiable to talk with and will do anything for you .he is supportive of not only texas tech but of our youth teams. the staff is great and very nice and take care of any problem you have. sure every now and then you will have a problem or something will happen and someone will get mad but they truly try to do best for us. i give lynnwood a five star rating and look forward to living at the best place in town thank you more

We had a pretty nice experience. Our townhouse was clean and nice, and we didn't have any problems with the office. We cleaned our townhouse well before moving out, and were rewarded with our full deposit refund. Overall nice place to live. more

I have lived in Lyynwood for a few months now, and have loved it. It has been the best place I have lived sense I have been on my own. I have called for maintenance issues and they have come the same day. Any issues I have called with they are always so helpfull and pleasant. I would reccommend this place to anybody. more

Amazing 3/9/2011

Lynnwood Townhomes in Lubbock, Texas has been amazing. Any time I’ve had a problem such as my shower head leaking the maintenance was over within the hour to fix it. It’s also been very quiet where I live no crazy parties seem to be breaking out in my area or anything of that sort. It’s also located pretty closet Wal-Mart and campus. The staff and owner of the complex are really nice people, and very easy to work with. If you are looking for somewhere to live in Lubbock, Texas I would suggest looking at this place. more
