Caring! 11/27/2011

I had to bring my dog in for an emergency visit on a Saturday. It was so stressful to see my pet ill, but when I called Loving Family they reassured me that they could take care of my pet. When I came to my appointment they addressed all my concerns with such compassion. They did the necessary things and made not only my pet feel better but I felt better. I'm pleased to report he is doing great! They even called to check up on my pet and even asked if I was doing OK. I honestly have never had this service at a vet hospital. more than 3 times the estimate 11/10/2011

I called around looking for best price for getting shots for my dog. I'm a disabled veteran. My disability benefits are not what they should be. I saw the coupon and called ahead and was told that the bill would be $80-90. On the morning of the appointment, my leg was acting up and I couldn't make it. My wife took our dog in without me and when she got home, she told me the bill was over $300! Our dog is 7 years old and completely healthy and runs around our yard without a care in the world. She isn't sick. She didn't need a bunch of blood tests. We're not going to Hawaii on vacation--that money was for food and mortgage. Not all my meds are covered by the VA. When I asked my wife why she didn't just walk out when she felt pressured to do the tests, she said that everyone from the front desk to the assistant to the doctor told her these tests were necessary to ""make sure"" our dog was okay and she took them at their word. I'll be sure to tell everyone in the neighborhood and all veterans I meet what kind of place this is. This place should change its name to ""Wealthy Family Animal Hospital"" more

Wonderful, caring, true ""Loving Family"" 10/26/2011

Thank you Dr. Weldon, Stacey, Sue, Chris, Katie! You saved our little, but very precious life when every one else thought that the euthanasia is our best option. Top notch service! 10/1/2011

I recently move to Colorado and needed to find a vet. After looking at several places they all weren't what I was looking for. I finally stopped by at Loving Family to check them out. I felt immediately welcomed. I was given a packet of information and she explained everything in it. She answered all my questions. I came back a few days later with my pet. I was even more impressed with them. We were given drinks, my dog was given some water. Dr. Weldon was so nice and smart! I hope I can find a doctor and staff like this for my own personal health! more

Dr. Weldon Truly Cares About Your Animals and Your Family 9/19/2011

Our animals have been with Dr Weldon for almost 5 years and we have always been extremely happy with her care but more importantly, how she always puts animals first. After reading the few negative reviews that were posted (out of 23 total reviews), I truly felt the need to speak up and go on the record. While all people have a bad day or two in their daily life, it angers me to read some of the dishonest and malicious comments being said about such an incredibly caring person and group of people. Dr Weldon and her team have always treated our family and our animals with the highest level of respect, compassion and professionalism. Tried to lure me away 9/16/2011

I just saw Dr. Monique's advertisement in the Aurora South coupon circular and feel compelled to share my experience. I am a loyal client of Aurora Animal Hospital. Dr. Monique worked there for a little while and she examined my dog once when she was there. She was perfectly nice and at the end of my appointment, I told her how nice it was to meet her and I looked forward to seeing her again. That's when she told me that she was opening her own clinic soon and told me that she could contact me when she was open. I was flabbergasted. I've been going to Dr. Holly for years and I couldn't imagine she would hire someone who would do this. I suppose that Dr. Holly found out about what she was doing, because my understanding is that Dr. Monique didn't last there very long. I'm sticking with Dr. Holly. I see there are lots of other reviews from people who are happy with Dr. Monique. I'm not one of them. I have to wonder about Dr. Monique's ethics if she's trying to steal patients away from a clinic that she's working for. If she's willing to compromise her ethics to gain some business, what else is she compromising her ethics about? Does she sell expensive medicine that isn't necessary or suggest tests that aren't necessary? more

Doctor and Staff are very Passionate 9/14/2011

I have been taking my 5 year old dog to Dr. Weldon since she was 9 weeks old. Dr. Weldon has been very gentle and caring with my dog and able to answer all our questions so we could understand them. I think its great that Dr. Weldon opened up her own business so she could run it the way she wanted. She and the staff are so passionate about all animals and make you feel like you are one of the family. Dr. Weldon and the staff have made the animals their life and it shows through the care they give. more

All Fluff 9/9/2011

The lobby and exam rooms at this clinic are clean and pretty and it was nice to be offered refreshments, but the upsell and accompanying bill were a shock. I tried this place because there was a $15 off coupon, and times are tough right now. I asked what it would cost on the phone before I came, and once I was there they gave me an estimate for more than double what I was quoted. I guess I should have known that they have to pay for their refreshments somehow. Once I refused all the extras, their friendly attitude changed in a heartbeat. more

What a wonderful experience for me & my cats! 8/20/2011

I was looking for a new vet that would show compassion and real interest in my four cats. Boy did I hit the lottery with Dr. Weldon and her staff! From my initial phone call through my first visit, all I can say is wow. Everyone there was so professional and compassionate. They have a beautiful office, convenient hours, offer refreshments and were very affordable. They took time to learn my four cats histories and personalities. They listened and provided great guidance and that was even before I met Dr. Weldon. Dr. Weldon is simply the best. My oldest cat is 16 and showing signs of kidney disease, I am amazed at the things that can be done for a senior cat with this disease. She listen to my concerns and provided great advice. Excellent Service 8/15/2011

After visiting Loving Family Animal Hospital, I was so impressed I needed to write a review! From start to finish their customer service/knowledge was great! I was offered refreshments, my pets were immediately pet and you could tell they truly enjoyed their job. Which is quite refreshing these days. Dr. Weldon, was so sincere, My pet was sick and she did step by step things instead of running every test. My pet is doing great now! Its nice to have not only a great vet, but a loving staff also! more

INDEED A LOVING (FAMILY)... 8/1/2011

Upon entering the vet clinic we were treated like family!We were offered refreshments for ourselves and our pets. This was our first visit, we inherited two dogs and are really not financially able to care for them. Drove over to dumb friends , couldn't go through with it. Decided to take a chance on speaking with a vet, everywhere we checked was too expensive. Sunday was a free check up day we heard about on the news, they scheduled us to go to Loving Family. We are so blessed to have encountered such wonderful, compassionate people. Dr. Weldon and her assistant Katie were so kind and sympathetic to our situation, and treated us with the utmost respect. They went above and beyond to examine our dogs. They have worked out an affordable plan for us to have the proper care for our dogs. We have looked around at others, Loving Family beats the rest. Go in and experience for yourselves. I am so grateful to God that Loving Family is now part of our loving family! more

Convenient and Comfortable 7/28/2011

I am very happy that Loving Care Animal Hospital is in my neighborhood. I took my 12 year old mutt there because he was due for shots soon and had not been to a docotor in over 2 years, (we both are usually uncomfortable in doctors' offices). I was very comfortable here. The waiting room was large and clean, and I was offered a drink while I waited (less than 5 minutes without an appointment). more

Dr. Weldon is by far the most professional, compassionate, and knowledgable vet our family has ever encountered. Loving Family Animal Hospital's prices are more reasonable than any other facilities in the area, and their service is nothing less than stellar. Not once has Dr. Weldon or the staff ever tried to upsell, over sell, or recommend anything to us that our pets didn't need. more

dishonest...you bet 7/13/2011

Had a great facility and a very friendly staff, the vet was very nice and seemed helpful. The problems didn't start until we actually got to the exam room, I should have known something was up when the vet started suggesting all kinds of treatments and extra things I felt were unnecessary. I ended up just leaving and go to another Vet down the street called coal creek which was 1/3 the cost of dr weldons facility. Nice people but watch out for the up charging and over pricing its outta control over there. Maybe they just don't have enough visitors yet which is why they charge so much to their current clients...Well they lost this one! more

Wish I could agree 7/7/2011

I tried this vet because of the promotional coupons they had and because my dog was due for her shots. Nice, new facility, but I was shocked at the upsell and their prices. My dog just needed her shots and some heartworm medicine. I called ahead and got a quote, but when I got there they gave me another quote which was almost double what they told me on the phone. During the exam, the vet told me my dog needed her teeth cleaned. They had a little tartar, but not bad as far as I could see. I refused the teeth cleaning and extra lab tests, and you could see how disappointed she was. I went to Smoky Hill Animal Hospital for a second opinion since they do free dental exams and they told me that my dog did not need her teeth cleaned under anesthesia, but that she would benefit from daily teeth brushing at home. They showed me how to brush her teeth and sold me a kit for less than $10. more

Friendly, competent, professional 7/7/2011

Our cat was not eating and losing weight, since we were not thrilled with our prior vet clinic and decided to talk with Dr. Weldon. We were immediately put at ease, and more importantly, so was our cat. She has never just curled up in a vet's office, let alone go cooperatively into a vet or vet assistant's arms. The environment is clean, relaxed, friendly and professional. Our cat needed extensive dental surgery, all aspects of the surgery were explained clearly, our questions answered and the utmost care given to our beloved family pet. We are thrilled and highly recommend Dr. Weldon and her staff. more

Absolutely The Very Best 5/30/2011

Dr. Weldon and her staff is without a doubt the best vet we have ever had. I have two German Shepherds, ages 11 and 4, and they have both been with Dr. Weldon since they were puppies. I would not even consider taking them anywhere else. Dr. Weldon is amazing. She is honest, trustworthy and extremely compassionate. My girls have always received exactly what they have needed, never any more or any less, and I have never been up charged. I will have Dr. Weldon as our vet for as long as I have pets. more

One of the best in the biz 5/29/2011

As far as Dr. Weldon goes, she is one of the best vets in the business. I have had the joy to meet, work with, and take my pets to many veterinarians in the Denver area, and I can tell you that it is saturated with many quality veterinarians. Among these, however, I think Monique takes a special place. She is one of the brightest, most genuine and smartest practitioners in the field. I would never hesitate to take an animal to her, regardless of problem or, for that matter, species. more
