I called around looking for best price for getting shots for my dog. I'm a disabled veteran. My disability benefits are not what they should be. I saw the coupon and called ahead and was told that the bill would be $80-90. On the morning of the appointment, my leg was acting up and I couldn't make it. My wife took our dog in without me and when she got home, she told me the bill was over $300! Our dog is 7 years old and completely healthy and runs around our yard without a care in the world. She isn't sick. She didn't need a bunch of blood tests. We're not going to Hawaii on vacation--that money was for food and mortgage. Not all my meds are covered by the VA. When I asked my wife why she didn't just walk out when she felt pressured to do the tests, she said that everyone from the front desk to the assistant to the doctor told her these tests were necessary to ""make sure"" our dog was okay and she took them at their word. I'll be sure to tell everyone in the neighborhood and all veterans I meet what kind of place this is. This place should change its name to ""Wealthy Family Animal Hospital""
